We stay here for our early start fishing trips, it’s all neat and tidy with plenty of room to park the boat or work trailer. It’s been here for a while so don’t expect everything to be shiny new. The prices are pretty good for this area there seem to be a few tradies and workers who stay here from time to time. Friendly staff who are onsite most of the time, a very safe place to park boats or work vehicles

The location of the hotel was lovely, and the owner was easy to contact by phone, which was appreciated. The bed was clean, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room felt outdated, with stains on the floor, sticky blinds, and an old, noisy air conditioner. There was no one at reception during our stay, and the lack of soundproofing made it difficult to relax. The mini bath and shower combo was also very impractical and definitely wouldn’t be suitable for anyone older or anyone with mobility issues. The spa didn’t look anything like the photos advertised, which was disappointing, and while the pool was clean, it wasn’t warm as stated on the website. The bed was soft but uncomfortable, and the room didn’t have a welcoming vibe. We ended up leaving after the first night and went elsewhere.

That said, the hotel has lots of potential, and I hope they take the time to update and rearrange the rooms to create a better experience for future guests.

Old motel but maintain well, room clean and great set up,air-conditioning a bit noise, but working... definitely worth the price. old school high water pressure in showing was the best, didn't feel my hair clean and fresh for soooo long

Great room, very clean and well appointed. Lovely bed, linens and pillows. Booking and check in so easy via the website. Excellent value for money for this location, walking distance to the water and Ocean Grove golf course, will definitely be back!

Don't be fooled by first impressions upon driving in. The accommodation was fantastic. Fresh bright rooms with a fabulous kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. If you need somewhere to sleep close to Mount Duneed that won't break the bank (20 min drive), you can't go wrong.

Site - small complex so not many neighbours, was quiet when we visited for 2 nights. Nice local walks along riverside. Close to drive to beaches, lookouts and supermarket.
Rooms - We had an updated family unit, so modern decor. Interesting ceiling material? Loose wires in an overhead light. Shower was large and hot with good shower head, great for after pool.
Amenities - Wi-fi very weak at family unit end. Not useable. Hot tub was cold and bubbles worked 1 out of 20 times. Disappointing as heated pool and spa was a big decision in our choice.
Service - check-in conducted over phone as per notice on reception window.

I booked in at the motel & found the room was great with everything that I expected. After reading earlier reviews I was expecting the worse. It was very wet & the yard was full of potholes full of water but was dried up by the time that I left the next morning. I would highly recommend this motel anytime.
