We got very lucky to stay at Sunny Side Up as part of our mystery picnic. Hosts were fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the area and restaurant spots. The room we stayed in was lovely and comfortable. We were also treated to a 3 course breakfast with Brussels waffles which were to die for. Would certainly love to come back.

Such a beautiful property and our hosts were amazingly hospitable, with the right balance of welcoming and leaving guests to enjoy their stay.
The jacuzzi was such a special treat to completely relax and unwind.
The three course breakfast included in the stay was so good, compliments to our hosts!
We will definitely stay again and plan to bring the family next time and take out all the rooms. Thank you for having us Meg & Matt

From the moment we arrived it was Iike we were VIPs! We were greeted so warmly and shown to our room. Large and beautifully presented. We were asked what time we would like breakfast and given the most amazing menu you have ever seen! Very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the small dining Room was a delight. 3 courses (we only had 2!) Juice and coffee, eggs whatever way you wanted with bacon, tomato, mushies and a fantastic homemade tomato relish.Small Bread rolls. Then there speciality - homemade Belgian waffles. It was just heaven. Highly recommend for a couple's getaway!

Great hosts! Rooms were very nice, breakfast was great. Got the best tips on what to do on Mornington Peninsula! Very close to shops, restaurants, supermarket...Rye is a lovely little town. Loved spending a few days here! And the jacuzzi was magnificent 🙂

The best Bed & Breakfast I have stayed in, in a VERY long time.||Spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. The house is gorgeous and very well kitted out for guests. A short stroll to the beach and cafes. ||Could not fault it!||Also, THOSE BELGIAN WAFFLES - were sublime.

First of all: Here we had the best breakfast on our entire trip through Australia with Belgian waffles and personal service.

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped, but the best thing was the friendly and helpful hosts who welcomed us personally and explained the area to us.

We had two very nice nights in Sunny Side Up.

What a wonderful little gem on the Mornington Peninsula! My mum and I loved our stay at Sunny Side Up. The room and entire house is very clean and tidy, there’s a lovely backyard space to relax in and the three-course breakfast is just delightful! The owners are so incredibly warm, welcoming and kind. They even put birthday candles in my waffles for my birthday 🙂
The Belgian waffles are next level delicious! Thank you so much to Sunny Side Up!

I wish I could give Sunny Side up more then 5 stars. This was hands down the best experience with a stay we have ever had. From the very start Theo was helpful and very responsive to our enquiry. Carine was SO friendly upon our arrival and explained everything we needed to know along with some very insightful restaurant recommendations. The place was beautiful, inviting and immaculately clean. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their BnB, the breakfast was absolutely delicious!! From the homemade yogurt and chutney to the light and crispy waffles, I couldn't recommend it more. I would love to come back. Thank you both for making our 5 year anniversary a very special and memorable one.
