Stayed for 3 nights, 16 of us from a country car club. Probably the best motel we’ve ever stayed in in the course of our many weekends away. Beautiful rooms,well equipped kitchenette, good bed, tv & aircon. A friendly welcome from Michael. Everything spotlessly clean. A moderate price, |Thank you for a great weekend,|Judy “D”

The cleaners had done a great job in our apartment. This was let down by the white couch that needed a good steam clean. It wasn't the best choice for an accommodation venue. I was also disappointed at the lack of internet and the kids not being able to watch a movie on Netflix. Aside from that, the apartment was pretty, comfortable and convenient. A more friendly guest instruction list that helped with things like a WIFI PASSWORD would have been welcome.

I would not hesitate booking a return trip here!
Great location, great room, and great ammenities.
Our room was a great size with a good little kitchenette. All the basic essentials, microwave, toaster, kettle etc, as well as plates and basic items. Our room was facing the pool/bbq area which would be so handy in warmer weather.
The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing that could use an improve, was a bit of a deep clean in the shower on the grout.

Exactly what I and my partner were looking for at this quiet winter time: a really nice, no-fuss traditional motel with all that we required. Really appreciated the Australian-produced items: biscuits, paper toiletries, soaps (with easy-to-open packets for people with arthritic conditions like me), good quality milk!
Immaculately kept, pretty garden around the pool.
Love the collection of clocks at reception and chat with the managers. Wonderful walk to the nearby Barwon River and easy walking/driving access to town & Barwon Heads.
We'd be very happy to come back. 🙂

Had a one night stay there. At reception we met Elise. Very friendly and accommodating. She was a lovely host. .The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfy and we slept well. It was in a good location for what we wanted to do. Overall, very happy.

Michael was amazing. We left some of our belongings at the motel and he sent them to us express the next business day. It was an easy and quick check in and check out. Rooms were extremely clean.

Took a small group to Ocean Grove & stayed at The Riverside Motel for 4 nights. The service was truly amazing. The owners Elise & Michael, who are the friendliest couple, went above and beyond, to ensure everyone's needs were met & then some. |The units were so very comfortable & the continental breakfasts so very generous.|Thanks Elise, Michael & our wonderful tour guide & driver Neville.
