Sunday Roast. Fantastic table with great views Great start to what was supposed to be a beautiful lunch with my mother from New Zealand. To start no disabled parking and then steps into the front door. No signage for disabled entrance so had to navigate stairs. I was in a four wheelie walker not my wheelchair. Next my mother had a full glass of drink spilled in her lap and meal. They immediately took it away and replaced it and offered a free meal. Come to pay the bill and they had not taken it off. We had to ask. Not the most enjoyable lunch I have had. I expected more. Will not be back.

An institution that still delivers. Location is unbeatable, decor is great and the food is very good. Came for the Sunday roast and enjoyed it with the family - only feedback was that it wasn't served hot enough, could have done with more gravy and yorkies needed to be crispier. Other than that, enjoyed the service, drinks and atmosphere.

Had a 1st class dinner with family. In an environment that was just lovely. Open fires and great table service. 5 stars to the chefs, a perfectly cooked and presented meal.

What a stunning place where to enjoy the sunset! Grab a glass of wine and some food to share and enjoy the view that Portsea has to offer!

The food is also pretty good, I have enjoyed the burger a couple times.
The fish and chips was of a generous size.

The staff is friendly too.

Its strongest quality has been the view for us, so calming.

Love this place.! We have dined and stayed here on occassions and it has always been a great experience. This past weekend, our family hosted a special guest from Indonesia who manages a 5 star hotel. He was quick to point out that the vista, food, and amazing attentive service from staff in particular 'Naomi' ( who we later learned was the new Asst Mgr) was first class and of a high international standard. And for what its worth as a seasoned traveller, absolutely agree. Well done Portsea Hotel, excellent job and congrats Naomi on the position, obviously well deserved. Look forward to returning again soon.

Such a beautiful venue, such disappointing food. Two roast dinners, hard to get wrong however my lamb was tough, I small piece of pumpkin and small serve of cauliflower, and small roast potatoes. The Yorkshire pudding was the saving grace but cold. We were celebrating my sons Birthday and we were in and out within 35 minutes mmmmmmm so easy to get right shame.

Went for a birthday lunch. Scenery/dining area is no doubt a 8-9/10 and service was good. Food came out within 15-20 minutes so no complaints there, tho, it wasn’t a busy time. However, food was a little disappointing. Reasons being, the small portion sizes which dont justify the price at all unfortunately . Further, the pizzas we got had very little toppings but the dough was quite good and pizza tasted okay overall. Still a nice place to go every now and again for the experience and staff were lovely.

The most beautiful location, especially in nice weather. Good gluten-free options. Wonderful for couples and kids - the pizzas were some of the best in the world, apparently (and we have a margarita pizza expert in the group). Stunning places to walk. We enjoyed a walk from Sorrento.
