We recently stayed for 4 nights and the service was fantastic for a small hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in offering advice from dinner recommendation to the local taxi service. Good old fashioned service, they seemed interested in who you were, where you were travelling and how they could enhance your stay. |The restaurant food was good and rooms were clean and generally well maintained. |Location was good, we played golf 1 day and did a couple of days sightseeing, all within easy day trip driving.|This is a hotel with staff who care about making you feel welcome and work to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

I wouldn't say it is location since it is under golf club. But it is quiet, peaceful.
The room is clean and room facing golf club it is nice in the morning.
I request slightly early check in as the accor member , the room is ready with aircon turn on since that day is hot day. Appreciate these small attention to detail.

The restaurant is own by the golf club so understand breakfast is not buffet style. It is nice to cook to your order from the menu.

I suggest update the dinner time from thurs to sun on the website so that ppl know it has dinner arrangement. For me I thought only breakfast and lunch so I already book outside.
Be aware there are no gym, and also there is also pantry which I didn't know until i saw the welcome letter.

Our room was smaller than the website shown. It's a great placer golfers to play and stay. My friends love the nearby explore the Point Nepean National Park

We really loved our stay here. Check in was one of the easiest and best we have ever had, they didn’t charge an extra holding deposit that most hotels do and we really loved that. The view from the room was wonderful and it was very clean with a comfy bed and pillows.. our stay here was was better than we were expecting it be! Very happy

Booked a couple of nights at the Portsea Mercure to play golf. We were warmly greeted by Rebecca at reception who went above and beyond to accomodate all our emails, phone calls and date changes prior to arriving. We had golf view rooms which were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly! Course was in fantastic condition. We will be back! Thankyou Rebecca!

Although I am an Accor Plus member, I was disappointed that we were allocated a less than satisfactory room location upon check-in. Our stay was for a fairly long period of 7 days 6 nights. Accor should have taken this into consideration when allocating the room. The room 122 looked out onto a small enclosed shared grass patch/garden which was not well maintained. So no view and more importantly no privacy for the small outdoor sitting area outside the room - guests in the adjoining apartments could walk right up to the glass door of our room and golfers putting on the green could look down into the room. So we had to keep the blinds down. Also we were woken up by the sound of grass mowing each morning. While we were offered a change of room the second day, we did not move as it was troublesome to pack and unpack our things and we were rushed for time the 2nd day. We could hear dripping noises during the night + sound of grass mowing in the morning. 😞

The room was very standard. We did have a great view over the golf course. The little bar fridge It doesn’t keep anything cold, I brought an esky for our food. Also the light in it stays on all night, the little recess the fridge goes into doesn’t allow enough air and it is very hot. Fire waiting to happen, I think. The receptionist was friendly at the very beginning when we paid the money, after that she didn’t even speak to you at all, not even good morning etc. once the money was paid, didn’t want to know you. That to me is not good reception etiquette. She was always looking down at her desk. Everything else was lovely. The breakfast was great and the service from them was lovely too. Thanks

Really like this hotel .|The check in needs to sharpen there game and not be offensive . |It is not appropriate to open with “what is with …….?|You are the third booking in from …… today”.|That aside and aside from the bird poop on the wall in our room and no dinner service we enjoyed our stay . Rooms are adequate and linen clean , breakfast from7 am in the hotel with best view of the bay and quick good coffee from friendly staff .Our ham and cheese croissant was heated in the oven and not squashed flat by a sandwich press and really lovely as were eggs on toasted sourdough . Coffee was more than adequate .|Quite an under rated stay for such great sunrise and sunsets
