Kathy is a wonderful host. Her hospitality is accommodating and friendly. The platters were delicious and an abundant of food.
The gorgeous little cottage was just perfect and exactly what we wanted. The cottage is warm and cosy and has everything you need.
We highly recommend.
Thanks again for our lovely stay, we enjoyed our time as a little babymoon for our first baby.

We had a lovely stay at Tara Cottages. The antipasto platter and breakfast hamper were very generous and Kathy was a friendly and attentive host. We were delivered firewood every day and even received a fresh loaf of bread on our third day. The cottage was very comfortable and very clean. Lovely property with some cute animals! Highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful weekend away! Kathy and her family were the perfect hosts.
Antipasto platter on arrival was perfect as we got in quite late.
Breakfast provisions were extremely generous!
The bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE and the little Ned Kelly fireplace kept us warm all night.
The property itself was gorgeous and our kids loved having the opportunity to feed the animals.
We will definitely be back.

Awesome stay at Tara Cottages. Perfectly appointed for a short stay. Super clean. Comfy beds. Our kids loved meeting & feeding the property’s animals. Kathy is a warm and genuine host and the amazing breakfast hamper was so generous we couldn’t finish it all! Delicious platter on arrival was very much appreciated too. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus - our dog very happy he wasn’t left at home. Guildford is a quaint little town close to lots of local sights and great cafes/restaurants. We stayed 2 nights at Tara B&B. We were promised an anti pasto plate to arrive to and a hamper of breakfast foods. What a feast we arrived to, complete with some of the yummiest gluten free bread I have ever tasted. |Sitting on chairs on the verandah of our cottage in the evening, listening to frogs, looking over a gorgeous garden was just delightful.|Our host, Kathy, and her family were also a delight to meet.|Thank you.

Beautiful weekend away at the Tara Cottage 🙂 Absolutely loved the home made bread, local jams and produce, and the effort put in to cater for our vegan dietary requirements. Kathy was an incredible host tending to our needs and for also showing us around the property and introducing us to their cutest pets. Can't wait to go again and hope to bring my pup too 🙂

The host Kathy made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The room is very comfortable and the log fire kept us warm. The breakfast basket and cheese platter were a highlight. Pet friendly was a bonus for us as was the interaction with the host family and their kids and farm animals

Tara is a wonderful place to day, and Kathy is a fantastic host! The antipasto platter awaiting us on arrival was quite delicious, sitting on the front verandah amongst the beautiful gardens, snacking on the platter and enjoying a drink was most relaxing.||The breakfast player was also delicious, with fresh bacon, eggs, Muesli and amazing fresh baked bread amongst other delights.||Castlemaine and Daylesford are quite close by car, as is Mt Franklin. The walk from Tara to the general store and pub, or a little further to the lookout is very good too.||Thanks Kathy!
