I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Mewburn Park Homestead recently, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most beautiful and thoughtfully run venues I’ve worked at. The setting is truly magic - with so many different photo locations within a short walk (think heritage homestead, rambling gardens, stables, paddocks, even the most photogenic driveway!). Every corner catches the light differently and offers a fresh backdrop, which makes for such a dynamic and romantic gallery. Plus, the clear marquee means there is such beautiful light even later on for candid portraits of guests.

What really sets Mewburn apart, though, is the presence of the owners, Julia and Adam. It’s rare to have venue owners so personally involved, and it makes a huge difference. They are warm, welcoming, and so deeply invested in making the day smooth and meaningful for each couple. You can feel how much heart they’ve poured into the space and the experience.

The mix of classic country charm and understated elegance is spot on - it feels authentic and relaxed while still being incredibly special. The flow of the day worked beautifully with the layout, and the sunset was chef’s kiss. I’d absolutely recommend Mewburn to couples looking for a soulful, natural, and well-run venue (and to fellow photographers — you’ll be in heaven with the variety!).

From the moment we arrived and drove up the immaculate driveway, we instantly knew Mewburn was the one. Julia and Adam were warm, welcoming, and truly took the time to get to know us as a couple. Their genuine passion for the venue was infectious, and we felt completely at ease with our decision. They brought our vision to life and made sure everything flowed perfectly on the day. We felt so calm and relaxed on our wedding day and it was all thanks to them.

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and we couldn't fault a thing. From our very first email exchange with Julia, we got good vibes . As soon as we drove down the driveway for a viewing, we knew we needed to get married here. The whole team is amazing and will be just as excited for your wedding as you are! Our wedding day was an absolute breeze thanks to Julia and Adam being with us every step of the way, from fluffing our dresses before walking down the aisle, to making sure we were completely relaxed at our reception. We can't thank them enough for doing such an amazing job for us!

We couldn’t recommend Mewburn Park enough after our wedding in December! Julia was a superstar from start to finish, the staff were incredible and so attentive, and the new lakeside cabin was gorgeous. I already look back on our wedding photos with so much delight, with zero regrets whatsoever on this venue.

Marvellous Mewburn, I attended my granddaughter’s wedding on 9th March and the whole day was magical thanks to Julia, Adam and their amazing hardworking staff. The marquee, the beautiful gardens, ponds, the grand entrance through the oak tree foliage, everything was simply stunning. The bride Julia and groom Liam had a wedding day full of love, romance and memories thanks to the magic of Mewburn. 🤍🥂

This venue was our first venue we looked at for our wedding and straight away we both knew we didn't need to look anywhere else. The venue is STUNNING, everywhere you look it is incredible, it truly does look the same if not better than the photos which is so hard to come by. What made our day and experience leading up to it was the owners Julia and Adam, words can't describe how wonderful they are, nothing was too hard for them, they were so attentive, looked into every detail to make us feel at ease and make our day the perfect day - they are the most incredible owners and truly do make the venue a 10/10 - I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat, couldn't fault it!

Julia and Adam were absolutely AMAZING!! Not only is the venue whimsical, it also offers multiple photo locations each with its own unique vibe and the ability to make the space yours. Julia has many and great connections with other vendors that makes for a organised and smooth event. She offered us support the whole way through planning with wonderful communication and accomodating our requests, we cannot thank her enough. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect at Mewburn, with the beautiful getting ready space for us girls, a wonderful garden space for the ceremony, a gorgeous marquee for the reception, and the most spectacular lake house cabin for us to stay in the night of the wedding waking up to the beautiful scenery and breakfast. Attention to detail at Mewburn is nothing short of excellent. We couldn’t have imagined a better location and staff for our special day. We highly recommend Mewburn Park!!!
