I had an incredible experience at the escape room, especially considering it was my first time. The challenges were engaging and kept us fully immersed throughout the entire experience. What made it even better was the staff, particularly the gentleman at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. Harley provided helpful hints at just the right moments, which enhanced our overall enjoyment without taking away from the fun. It was a truly memorable and exciting experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.

My Daughter had her 15th Birthday here and it was amazing. Harley was very accommodating to our needs and was fantastic with the kids!

They absolutely loved the Escape Room and Mini Golf.

Had a great time in the escape room, but my family and myself absolutely loved the Smash room. The kids had so much fun, and the smash room was perfect to release some built up anger and frustration! 🤣

Very disappointed with the experience of this escape room, especially by the performance of the male staff member on shift during this time (Sunday 6th July). A group of us came bustling in, excited to celebrate a birthday with a mind-bending challenge. We were given a free round of mini golf, as the escape room wasn’t ready for our use, and we were grateful for this fun experience! However, when it came time for our turn, the unenthused staff member passed us around stickers with identification numbers (we were doing the prison escape room), despite the prison suits hanging up a few meters from us, in which we were meant to don. Before entering the escape room, a few of us asked where to safely store our personal belongings (e.g., handbags), to which the staff member nonchalantly told us to place them on top of the bar (exposed). Once inside, the staff member (with the demeanour of ‘I don’t want to be here’) used a mono-tonal voice to explain the objective of the game, sighing in between his explanation.
Onto the experience of the escape room. Twenty minutes in, one of our friends ‘cracked’ one of the main codes. We were able to escape into the second room, and were working collaboratively to find the next clue. However, it was realised (around forty minutes in) that our friend had actually gotten into the safe because it was broken, not because we had figured out the clue, meaning that it had fast-tracked our progress (consequently, meaning we had skipped about four steps). This had failed to be mentioned during the time that the broken safe had been utilised, as we suspected that the staff member wasn’t actually watching us through the cameras and tracking our progress. Because of this, we needed to re-trace our steps, all because one of the props was broken from before we started. Additionally, no timer/countdown was placed in any of the rooms, meaning we had no idea how fast/slow we were going, or how much time we had left.
Once we were successfully out of the escape room, we all filed out into an empty room. We were not greeted by the staff member. We all stood around awkwardly, until one of us spotted the staff member sitting behind the screens at the reception, looking down (presumably at his phone). A few minutes passed, and some of the boys suggested we play a game that was stationed at one of the tables in the main area. The staff member finally stood up and curtly said, ‘place closes on five minutes’. We did not receive a time for how fast we cracked the escape room, we didn’t get a photo (which was advertised), we did not receive a ‘well done’… this staff member made it very clear that we were no longer welcome, and we were impeding on his Sunday rates day. Stunned (and quite honestly, just speechless), our group shuffled into the elevator and left. All of us have done plenty of escape rooms before, and we collectively agree that this was the worst experience we have ever come across (especially in terms of customer service)!!
Will not be coming back 🙁

We went to Escape Smash Play to try out an escape room, 'Prison Break' in particular. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff, who also explained the rules of the escape room. Clues helped us out when we were particularly stuck, so the game could keep moving in just the right flow. We really enjoyed this room, (and escaping from it!) and can definitely say we will be back to Escape Smash Play in the future! Thank you team for the great experience 🙂

Jai was the man serving us, he was very friendly, helpful and awesome! I went with my hubby, 2 teenage sons and my mum. We did the escape room, and with a little guidance from Jai made it out of prison in 54 minutes. Yay!! 🥳
The rooms and equipment etc were fully functional and clean, which was great. We had a look at the other activities to do there, and the mini golf looks great as do the smash rooms and axe throwing.
All in all a 10/10 really fun experience!!!
Would highly recommend ANYONE to come and give it a go!!!!

Me and my friends spent a night at escape smash and play, we were delighted to be welcomed in with high energy and great vibes! The staff were very friendly and made our experience a night to remember, they also offered free bar games to go along with some drinks! Overall we had an awesome night!

I went in to do the escape rooms and some smash rooms, I somehow managed to get out of both the rooms, the prison is definitely my favourite. The smash rooms were so much fun and the manager even gave us a microwave to smash.

We ended up spending our last bit of time doing the shuffle boards and pool tables to finish and day off.

The manager was super down to earth and welcoming, will definitely come back and try and mini golf and axe throwing.
