If you are planning to come to shepparton then this place is a must visit. I came here about 2 weeks back. Although the weather that day was horrible but Kristy ensured that my experience of coming to shepparton was something to remember. She welcomed me with her cheerful smile and enlightened me with the history of the town and the museum. Although there is a small entry ticket but the collection that museum has and warm welcome from Kristy makes every cent worth. Will come here again for sure.

Took our GVCF Young Heart Group on a Wednesday morning - an informative and enjoyable time was had by all. It's much bigger than expected, and Kristy was so helpful doing a great job answering questions arising from the photos and historic information on the slide show. We then took our time looking at and reading about the various exhibits. Free parking at the back is a bonus.

Blown away by the wonderful exhibits and friendly staff. Full of amazing things to see and of course our Aussie irreverent humour is obvious around the displays. You can even leave your own comments as 'post it' pads are thoughtfully left throughout.

Awesome museum, plenty of interesting exhibits and a knowledgeable guide to educate.
Shepparton Heritage Centre Museum is built around Shepparton's oldest surviving building and located in the Historic Precinct, the hub of old Shepparton, Shepparton Heritage Centre Museum is the custodian of Shepparton's early settlement history spanning back over 150 years. Tatura Irrigation and Wartime Camps Museum is a short drive away and well worth the detour.

Worth the stop. Many thoughtful touches throughout the museum that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Very reasonably priced. They have a student discount.
