I recently had the pleasure of visiting Royal Bamyan reception, ( I am originally from Sydney and didn’t know anyone in Melbourne who had a reception) and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
Although I had a big gathering, but I was assured that everything will be done perfectly
the reception area was warm and inviting. The host greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel welcome immediately. The ambiance was cozy, with tasteful decor that set the tone for a pleasant dining experience.
The menu offered a diverse range of options, catering to various tastes.

The staff at Bamyan reception were exceptional. Our servers were attentive without being intrusive, and they were knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The teamwork among the staff was evident, as everything flowed seamlessly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, my visit to Bamyan reception was fantastic. The combination of a warm reception, delicious food, and attentive staff made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Went here this week for first time in a very long time. The food is absolutely amazing.

The chicken was crispy, the mantu was perfect, the lamb was cooked so well the bone would just fall right off. They had so many different options of food.

I don't think I've had food that nice anywhere else.

The staff were also very professional.

This place needs to get proper lift for carrying heavy decoration stuff. I was given some attitude by an old man when I asked about how to carry heavy event props. He was expecting me to carry them on stairs, and tried to say “ oh I don’t know where the keys are for the lift. We insisted and he finally opened the gate to the manual lift. On pick up day, he acted the same. I reached out to someone using the number provided at the entrance explaining how the old man gave me some attitude, but this is what he said ,
“ U better talk to your customer not us, and should be thankful that on Sunday he has opened the reception.
Next time first think about the lift facility then take booking”
How can he say that I should be thankful yet the on website it says “open 24hrs”?
I will never recommend this place to anyone especially event decor people. The ladies were very nice though.

Beautiful venue for special occasions.

Customer service excellent.
Food excellent.
I appreciated how all staff double-checked if all guests were served enough and brought more.

The only con:
First round of tea arrived and served.
Ladies love tea!
We asked for second round. Tea arrived. It was cold and no color. The staff probably refilled the tarmuz with hot water without tea leaves.

Still well done!! I highly recommend this place.

Had my daughter’s 11 birthday party at the reception centre…amazing decor …they even allowed us to have our own traditional catering done on the day …definitely booking again for my upcoming family functions…

My cousin had his wedding here and a friend of mine had his engagement there. Best reception hall in the area. Highly recommend.
