Positives:
- Great location
- Good rates for rooms, but you'll find out soon (you get what you pay for😅)
**Disclaimer, we never raised any of the below concerns with the Motel, we never got an opportunity as we were extremely weary from travel. This is more the observations:

Negatives or opportunities for them to improve:
- Overall building and facilities cleanliness (Found used needles and dirt lying around everywhere)
- Change the toilet seats, they look like they have been through war😅
- The pillows were the cheapest and thinnest I have ever seen, probably meant for kids.
- Room cleanliness, dust, stains and grime everywhere especially the toilets, A/C and the beds🤮
- Next door neighbour's smoked in the room and it wafted through to our room😅
- Room lights stopped working and had the one lamp to light the whole room😅

There are too many negatives to list, but you do get what you pay for!

On behalf of my family I would like to thank the staff at Sandown Regency for their hospitality. They gave us a home away from home. The rooms were consistently clean and comfortable. The linen and furnishings were all brand new and laundered daily. The pool area was well maintained and the pool was pristine. For the price point, having a poolside balcony with garden view is unmatched in the area. The venue provides delicious food and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Several times they went above and beyond to provide exceptional service; for these reasons I can recommend the Regency if you are on a budget but would like a safe, comfortable place to stay.

I had a mixed experience. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, which I truly appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the room needs improvement. I found some trash under the bed, which was disappointing. If they can improve their housekeeping, it would make the stay much more pleasant.

This motel room is so run down its not even funny. The pictures on their website are nothing like the room I'm in. Broken glass pane in the widow leading out to the pool. Pillow slip missing of the pillows. Fire alarm no cover so therefore I'm guessing not working. There is a large section of the wall that has a patch covering damage the patch peeling off.No bed side lamp light switches at entrance so when lights are off you can't see how to get to the bed. The bathroom is old and parts of cabinet are falling off the taps have no hot or cold indicators on them. The tiles have been painted at sometime and now all the paint is peeling off. My room and bed do not look anything like the pictures on their websites. The facilities are 3rd world Would not recommend this motel one of the worst. I can't seem to add the photos that I have taken to compare. Apparently when you book in for 2 nights or more no clean towels and no bed making no cleaning of bathroom

Staff lovely and polite
Restaurant not visited as if the facility is that dirty, what is the kitchen like
Rooms old, dirty and mouldy broken equipment and curtains falling down and dirty
Bed ok but over a week, too hard
Wifi useless
Outside looks like a rubbish tip
Lots free parking but also a rubbish dump

They said they would move us but all rooms were discussing and should be clean and acceptable

This was about the worst place I’ve ever stayed in!
-Glass door to the pool had a huge crack and was just taped.
-Huge amount of cigarette buds on the ground in front of our room
- Room smelt badly and was really dirty (crumbs on table & bedside table, floor hadn’t been vacuumed, mirror had mascara stains on it, the was hair in the sink)
- we got one dirty, used towel folded amongst the clean ones
- there was wallpaper and cables hanging from the walls
- The smoke detector wasn’t on the ceiling
- there was a chair in the pool and the pool sides and toys were dirty as well
And most obscurely: the toilet brush didn’t have a holder and just lay next to the toilet!!!
Certainly not suitable for young children as it’s dangerous in room 5!
Would not recommend and never go again as it’s not even worth the cheap price you pay for it.

This is a case of you get what you pay for!

Cheap room, not clean and not ready for us to check-in at 6pm!! Husband had civil words with the manager to get it done.
Pillowcases stained and dirty, room smelt of food, 1 plate, 3 bowls and cutlery for 2 people 🤦🏽‍♀️ Furniture old, torn and stained. Fridge door didn't close......actually the only decent thing was the pool 😣
Would only go back if I was desperate
