A simple one-nighter. Very well priced facility, particularly thanks to Trip.com. Positioned very close to an event we were attending, and close enough to everything Bendigo has to offer. The motel is definitely old and needs a full refurb. However, my opinion is that I can't see the value in doing this (certainly as the cost would be perhaps more than it's worth), and of course the cost to stay would rise significantly. Frankly, its age didn't bother us as it was well presented, clean, had pretty everything you could want, the TV was nicely setup, the bed comfy, we couldn't have asked for more really. If refurbed, I don't believe the additional cost would work in that I suspect the price would have to double at least, therefore diminishing the attraction of a well priced facility. I give it a tick.

A little dated but immaculate and very well maintained, very comfortable with wall heater and aircon, smart TV. Fridge, microwave etc. Happy to recommend to travellers with pets and will definitely stay there again.

It's basic decor but very clean. Had smart tv, Wi fi, toaster microwave, facilities to wash plates, cutlery etc.
Great location for exploring Bendigo. Pretty quiet at night.
Lovely hosts. Recommended booking direct with them, not through a booking site.

A good affordable motel just outside Bendigo. Very useful as a nights stop on the way to Mildura. Very 1970s vibe but my room had broken curtains & also a broken toilet lid but otherwise everything was functional and not too noisy until the trucks started in the early hours of the morning. The shower was fantastic, great pressure & temperature too. Close to food with KFC within walking distance & McDonalds back down the road by car. As I checked in after hours I didn’t see any employees & the next morning when I spoke to the cleaner, he didn’t seem to understand my question so I just dropped the keys off in the lock box.

Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly, huge crack in toilet lid, curtains hung with zip ties or shower curtain rings, net curtain ripped, lock broken on front window. Had to put my toothbrush in track so it couldn’t be opened from outside

A bit remote, a bit dated interior, but practical and good value if you travel with a dog.
Liked · Accepting our dogs to accompany us. Easy to reach and providing sufficient parking. Spacious bathroom and nice shower. Little practical kitchen area and enough space for our dog's sleeping space. Also nice to have a little sofa in addition to the two chairs.
Disliked · The rooms look a bit dated. But as long as everything is functional, I am happy to accept it for good value for monwy and the fact that they accept pets. Also, the motel is a bit remote for seeing Bendigo. But then again, you are here by car, aren't you?

Nice cosy room. Aki is responsive to my enquiries prior to the stay. He also proactively recommended us nearby eateries and a park which we went the next morning. Nice walk in the park, so many birds and friendly park goers.
