Was recommended by one of the locals, was quite busy inside, and the coffee was good. The scrambled eggs were reable. it was warm and inviting.

Love this place, they have a great selection of gluten free food on the menu too. Huge beverage list, very impressive. Staff is lovely and attentive. Definitely worth the drive from Melbourne for our Sunday lunch.

Pulled pork burgers and twisted potato chips were absolutely delicious Very warm and welcoming atmosphere Staff were very friendly and went out their way to make our experience as a family enjoyable Loved the fact that there were activities/ experiences to for our son to choose from to engage in (colouring/card games)

This place has cemented its place as the most consistent (and good, obviously!) coffee in the Bellarine. Hubby and I have been going to local places for a long time, and we always come back here. And then last weekend he discovered the Vanilla Slice. My gosh. The best we have ever had, by a country mile. So good, we ended up having 4 of them in 24 hours! Was disappointed when I went in yesterday and didn’t see any, although my waistline was not disappointed! Kellie is one of the hardest working cafe owners around, staff are always smiley. The atmosphere is part cafe, part someone’s Nanna’s place, part funky little garden area, but always nice in good weather. The menu is pretty large, and seems to cover all the normal bases, every meal we have had here has been really good. We are spoiled for choice on the Bellarine for food, wine and hospitality options, so having this one so close is awesome!

So Mr (or Mrs perhaps) librarian thinks the Bungalow has gone downhill. I suggest they get a car park out the front (which by the way is often difficult) and observe the number of customers visiting the venue, most of whom are happy regulars. Been visiting this venue for 9 years and it’s never been in better hands.
