My husband booked this lovely home for 3 nights as it was in close proximity to family nearby & we were there to see them. What a find it was! A comfortable, clean, well equipped house with a gorgeous garden & views to the water, with well behaved visitors (the owners live next door so their sweet pooches Wizard & Plum like to say hi every now & then). We lit the fire & shared home cooked meals with our family, it felt very much like a "home away from home". Ange (owner) was welcoming & even offered us free rein of her herb garden, she was more than helpful. The house is in a quiet location, only a couple of minutes drive to the little township, we hope to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Footloose - the place is very basic in terms of furniture but the layout is really laid-back and we felt immediately comfortable there. The owners were not around at all but it didn't matter as we had everything we needed and had the privacy we wanted. The area is very quiet and conveniently placed to the main strip of Portarlington as well as very close to the water. We slept well and felt very relaxed in the place. Great for a family.

Just returned from a three day visit to Portarlington staying at Footloose beach house. The accommodation has two bedrooms, one with a very comfy queensize bed the other with two single beds, both with pull-out trundles. The family area is large with a Conara woodfire heater, two lounges, another sofa bed, tv, dvd, cd etc. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and has all basic requirements - pepper and salt, sauce, oil, gladwrap - everything with having to go out and buy basic items if you are travelling. A nice dining table and chairs that give a view over to the water. The owner is on hand next door ready to help with any of your requirments. The house is equipped to allow disabled access with ramps and bathroom support bars. Thanks Ange, we will return and recommend your home to friends. This is a good base to explore the area but also a good stopping point outside Geelong before heading onto the Great Ocean Road.
