I ordered a normal, chill, medium rare kids steak. And the gave me an overcooked, grey, disgusting chunk of meat. The salad was the only good thing, and the chips tasted like they heated them up from Cole’s.

Abysmal customer service.
Ordered meals to pick up. Porterhouse steak medium rare, chips and salad and Hawaian chicken with vegetables. Was told 10-15 minutes.
45 minutes later, I was given a well done steak, overcooked chips and missing the salad, and a chicken parmi.
After waiting 3 times as long as I was told it would take, I didn't check it before driving home. My mistake.
I called when I got home to let them know what happened and was offered a full refund, and was told I didn't have to go back that night, an envelope with my details would be waiting for me. I'm thinking great, because I really didn't feel like driving back over, nor did we want to wait another hour to eat. Good outcome from a unsatisfactory experience.

10 minutes later, some women calls me back and asks me to bring back the meals if I want a refund. I told her I am not coming back that night, and she then asks if we're eating the food. Well, yes, we don't have any food in the house, it's why we ordered from you, and she tells me, not very politely, that if I want the refund, I have to return the food.
Why? So you can throw it in the bin?

Yes, we ate it, but it's not what we ordered or what we wanted. I didn't ask for a refund, one was offered to me.

I don't know who it was that called me, but she needs training in customer service. If the person I spoke to shouldn't have offered me the refund, then let her know. Calling a customer like this to take back the offer that was already given? Disgraceful.

Ordered a take away meal. Saturday night, after a long week of work. Not enough energy left to cook a meal. To tired, no patience left to mingle with a crowd of ppl, therefore ordered take away. However, we didn't get the meal we asked for, ordered a steak with salad and chips but didn't get a salad and steak incorrectly cooked. Second meal was meant to be a chicken snitzel but received the wrong topping. Offered a full refund for the mistake, we didn't expect that but very satisfied by it. However, I guess manager rang back to recind the offer!! Was very angry, abrupt , and rude! We did not ask for the refund but were consequently abused for wanting it!! Not sure what this was about but dammed sure we will never order from here again! We run a business of our own and understand how the important it is to take care of your customers. Apparently some staff at this establishment understand that but management definitely don't!! What a huge letdown!! Strongly recommend you don't eat here or order takeaway. Dig deep to go nd the energy to even cook some toast, you will ll be better off!

Hadn't been here for years and was quite happy to find that it was just as beautiful as ever! Came here for dinner and ordered a scotch fillet done rare with salad and mushroom gravy. Very nice food, very friendly staff, comfy atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Went to the New Norfolk Market but it was pouring with rain so ended up in the corner hotel for a pub meal. So glad I did.

What great value! I opted for the Chicken Schnitzel with chips & salad and a glass of coke. It came to around $30 and if you look at the photo it was a fair chunk of chicken that was served up. I topped it with some mushroom sauce and got stuck into it. This meal completely filled me and was delicious .

The staff are very friendly, the service great and I can see why it's a popular place in the area. If you happen to be out this way and are looking for some traditional counter meals then I would seriously recommend you stop in here.

Rooms not rated. Went for dinner only. Quick service of meals. Really good surf and turf. All 12 members of our group enjoyed their food selections. Excellent friendly service despite being very busy.

We dropped in on the way to a tour and the place was pretty busy. Thought if the locals are here, we should eat there.
We weren’t wrong. Ordered ribs and porterhouse steak, and were blown away. So tender and cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. The staff are just unreal. Old school country pub with values that are not seen these days. Ok, it is dated, and may not be flashy like over priced places in the city, but what an awesome meals. Genuine staff that care.
So happy we stopped in.
