This place is just awesome. Alana is super friendly, everything’s completely clean and tidy. You’ll find great kitchen equipment, a comfortable bed, flawless WiFi at the accommodation and lots of cute kangaroos around the area. If you need anything you can always text the owners and get a instant reply and you can just enjoy the nature, also due to the big windows in the dorm house which allow you a perfect view into the forest.
I’m glad i found this place and you should definitely stay here as well!!

Great spot tucked away from the bustle of Hobart.

The hosts were really responsive, all facilities clean and well-equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Plus, they have a bunch of animals they feed in the evenings if you want to see some of the local critters! Always a perk!

Whether you're staying in the cabin, an RV or camping in a tent Base Camp is so accommodating and gorgeous.
Unbelievably stunning views absolutely abundant in wildlife that gather around the camp ground at all hours of the day.
So blissfully quiet and tucked away from the roads, a really peaceful place to stay.
The reviews aren't lying when they talk about how clean and well-presented this place is. Fitted with a large enclosed camp kitchen, well-kept bathrooms and laundry.
Not to mention that Steve was such a knowledgeable and generous host.
You'd really be missing out by skipping over this place, could not recommend it enough.

Wow what a breathtaking camping experience with an Amazing outlook across the valley towards Mt Lloyd.
All facilities were user friendly, well maintained and easily accessable.
We loved the way the wildlife roams freely and safely around the property.
Admin was helpful, friendly, and very easy to correspond with.
Looking forward to visiting again.

one of my favorite stays in Tasmania!
Great facilities, awesome host and stunning setting. Lots of wildlife, great community atmosphere.
Traveling on motorbikes so driveway was a bit tricky but easily manageable and worth it!

Can't rate this place highly enough! We stayed in the family cabin which was so warm and spacious for our family of 4. We woke up to a light dusting of snow (in July) which was magical. Kids loved all the wildlife and the owners were so friendly and accommodating! Will come again 😁

One of the best camping ground in Tassie. It was unique experience. The camp kitchen is well stocked for what you needed. Plus the complimentary laundry provided by the owner. I would recommend if you want to be close to nature.

Maybe the best campsite I've stayed at! Really quiet and tucked away in the hills, with lots of wildlife about. The owner was super lovely and nice facilities.
The road up is very steep and tight corners which would keep out the bigger campers/caravans
