We needed a place for one night on a long road trip and this fitted the bill. The family room had plenty of beds. It makes the most of the limited space. Clean. The unit itself is fairly basic but it has what you need for a stopover. Conveniently the RSL is just opposite which was a great option for dinner just after we arrived. It also has a good bakery opposite for the morning coffee, muffin, croissant. A convenient stay and the management have worked to make it comfortable.

Friendly staff, extremely clean facilities and lovely amenities. I stayed at short notice with family. Our group booked several rooms and each were beautifully decorated and very well serviced. The motel is a short walk from the centre of the town and water. We tried the continental breakfast and found it delicious and great value for the price. The guest laundry was convenient and the rooms had good versions of the usual tea, coffee and biscuits. There was full sized crockery and cutlery, as well as a kettle, microwave and toaster. Staff were welcoming and accommodating and I would definitely recommend staying here if travelling to Forbes.

Clean and very comfortable. Room 35 - deluxe room type (which are a little bigger as I understand). Used my earplugs, as there was a small amount of road noise, which I am sensitive too. Slept very well on a comfortable bed. Host was easy to deal with and friendly.

My wife and I recently stayed a few nights at the Plainsman Motel whilst in Forbes. It was everything that we expected of a regional country motel. Wonderful friendly staff, a very convenient location and a clean comfortable room. What more could you ask for. We would happily stay there again if stopping over in Forbes.

This is the second time I have stopped here. Sharee is always incredibly pleasant and makes your stay easy and comfortable. It's affordable and clean. The Pub is just across the road for a great evening meal. Highly recommend.

Lovely receptionist! Was able to fit a family of 6 in on late notice. Room fit us well, clean room.
Bright lights. Close to shops but getting in the drive way is a juggling game with the main road at the front. I would definitely stay here again tho.

Stayed for one night, fast and friendly check in. Had an issue with the TV remote which was fixed in minutes. Info sheet provided, which should probably state the air con has a master switch beside the bed as it took a while for this weary guest to work it out lol. Beds were comfy but firm. Bathroom is tiny but shower is great! Wifi was fast, smart tv with pre installed streaming options. Great stop overnight, Steve and Marylin were very nice.
