Best steak I've had in Hobart...that's right at a pub not at the steak places at the end of Salamanca!
Guinness on tap and tapas, finger food amazing. Stellar atmosphere good times and music.
Cozy inside as well. Excellent Irish vibes well done guys.
Will be back for another great night out

If you visit Hobart, and you like Beef and Guinness pie, then this will be your new go-to venue. Bar staff are great, very accommodating, but the Cape Grim Beef and Guinness pie is next level in culinary delights. A better on your big standard beef and Guinness pie.

My partner and I stopped at Irish Murphy's for dinner. It was quieter compared to other local establishments, and we were able to locate a table easily. The menu had a range of standard pub meals, including some popular Irish-inspired dishes like steak and guiness pie. The food service was prompt enough. However, the food was not great (my pork schnitzel was overdone... even slightly burnt). It was a shame, as I was hungry and looking forward to a dish I knew and loved.
Another interesting factor on atmosphere was the choice of music. Generally, pubs boast a range of classic tunes. But the playlist was minimal at best, playing primarily 80s/90s female artists like Britney Spears, TLC and Destiny's Child! It felt a little odd and out of place.

Was really keen on getting in an Irish pub feed with some beers to end the day. Was a bit let down by the curry fries, but the Guinness pie was decent and we absolutely loved the Murphy’s Steak Sandwich.

Servers were really friendly and the food was prepared much faster than expected.

Given it was St Patrick’s day we did well to get a table but the team did all they could to reserve a spot. Whilst a little apprehensive about being there in such a busy day we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were quick and efficient and given how busy certainly friendly. Dexter their manager is such a kind and generous man and made our visit that bit more special. So busy but had time to stop and chat and wish me a happy birthday. Great value, great food and an awesome atmosphere. Well done to Dexter and the team.
