Stayed in the 2 Bedroom apartment for over a week. Very comfortable with lots of room. Great location and easy access to Tamar Valley Wine Route and 15 minutes from Launceston.||Well kept, clean and extremely helpful Host. Adequate cooking facilities for the longer stays like ours or shorter 1-3 night stays. Great places to eat nearby. ||Very quiet at night so easy to get a good sleep.

Stayed for the first time this year, for something different (we often stay elsewhere close by). Location is superb, beautiful river view. We had the 2 level studio apartment - spacious bedroom upstairs (with TV), and kitchen/dining/lounge, TV/bathroom downstairs. Apartment has everything you need. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Ample off street parking, and close to shops/access to attractions etc. Hosts were great. A real gem.

My daughter and I shared the ground level, two bedroom apartment for 3 nights and were extremely pleased with the layout, space, the warmth, breakfast provisions and the friendliness of Carole, the host. She does an exceptional job maintaining the two apartments and meeting the requirements of guests.||The view over the river is ever changing and it is very relaxing just to sit and watch the birds as they dive for their food.||These holiday apartments are close to Launceston and to Beauty Point in the other direction. Most importantly, Pastimes is very close to the Rosevears Hotel if a substantial meal is required.

We stayed in the 2br apartment and found it very clean and comfy. All you need is provided for you. Host was very helful and there is a great view of the Tamar Valley out front. Quiet and tranquil.....had a great sleep:) All good. Well done.

This was our 2nd trip to Pastimes and having stayed in both units now I/we can only say what a positive experience we have had on both occasions. ||With a generous fresh continental breakfast including cereals and pod coffee along with the usual tea and coffee facilities for all guests.||There is also a kitchen with sitting area, TV in the lounge and bedroom area. Clean fresh bathrooms with all the trimmings. Plenty of bedding||Comfortable beds for a good nights sleep.||It has onsite parking, free Wi-fi and is located in an easily accessible area with superb river views ||Travelling for both work and leisure this is definitely a favorite place to stay.

This is a small B and B just north of Launceston, on the left bank of the river. Our hostess was very welcoming, and the flat we stayed in was very large, queen size bed in one room, twins in another, with a separate lounge area, then the kitchen dining area. Huge continental breakfast included.

Hosts were warm & friendly.||Apartment was clean & comfortable.||Carol pointed out the odour inside was due to the previous guests cooking very spicy food. That odour lingered our whole visit.||Septic tank a tad smelly.||Breakfast goodies were super.||The front verandah type seating was outdated.||But overall a great place to stay. BUT be prepared to be very very sad to see all the dead wildlife on the roads - heartbreaking and upsetting.

What a discovery! I found this place online and my wife and I were so happy with our Pastimes Riverfront Apartment. The view is beautiful and when they say breakfast is included they should also say morning & afternoon tea as well. The catering is bountiful!
