Update: Management reached out & were super understanding.
I was given a voucher which I used this evening when we went for dinner for my birthday.
Again, the food was excellent & this time I chose a drink that I could take with me from the bar. Not that I think it would have been an issue this time - not overly busy & plenty of staff.
The food was a bit slower in coming out this time but not too long, just enough time for some predinner conversation.
Staff were very friendly, polite & not an eye roll or audible sigh to be found.
So, it seems that our experience on our first visit (see below) was an anomaly due to unforeseen staff shortages & it being a ‘promo’ night.
We will be back & I would happily recommend it to others - particularly if you’re after a ‘family friendly’ place.

Food was excellent, even the salad bar.
What let it down was waiting 25mins for a mocktail- that I had ordered to have with my meal.
Having finished my meal, I then asked for a refund as there was no longer a need for my drink - I had tap water with my meal instead.
Whilst I understand that orders need to be taken, I should not have to wait almost half an hour for my drink.
Why there wasn’t someone allocated to process drink orders while the other staff took food orders is beyond me - it’s called ‘management’, maybe you should look that up 🙄

Went for a family lunch, specifically as they had a magician and ballons. Didn't disappoint, the guy was fantastic, remembering the kids names, doing some magic and then coming back with balloons for them, great imagination. The food was great, the salad bar was nice, different to what I'm used to, but I got to try something I wouldn't order, like chickpea salad. Meals took a while to come out, those that ordered on the app came out way earlier than those of us that ordered at the bar, prices are pretty good, very similar to other places, but you can fill up on soup n salad. Had a really good Sunday lunch. The media room was fantastic for the little kids, great for those that can't sit still. Very happy the kids loved it

Experienced Christmas in July at The Paradise. Table was set up nicely and we were presented with a balloon candy cane from the Balloon Artist. Food was delicious and very generous serves. Service was excellent especially from very attentive Abby. 10 of us had a lovely lunch thanks to the Paradise Team.

In terms of ambience... great for families. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is generous but average. Salad bar is well stocked and maintained. Just don't go there if your friends a low talker

We went to Christmas in July and it was excellent the decorations were great, we had a very yummy generous Christmas dinner! A fun day had by all! Thanks Paradise team!

We were thinking of booking the deck area for a family function so thought we'd go and have a meal and try the food.
The panko calamari was ok but the beef snitzel was not good. My partner could not even eat it all. It was like crumbed cardboard and the crumbs were thicker than the meat. The salad and veg bar was typical for a pub but fairly ordinary.
If you can't get a beef snitty right we won't be coming back for another meal and will be looking elsewhere for our family function.

Once again nine of us dined at the Paradise Hotel and we really enjoyed our time there. The food and the service was outstanding and we absolutely love the generous salad bar that is part of the dinner purchase price. We were seated in a nice room separate from the main area which was quite noisy. It is a lovely hotel to dine at!

Our group enjoyed dinner at the Paradise Hotel. The food and salad bar were excellent. The staff were young, cheerful and provided excellent service.

The ambience was good and we could converse with each other easily as it was not noisy. There are a number of different rooms and areas to enjoy a meal.

Certainly, we plan to go back again soon.
