This is a surf club trying be a fancy restaurant and it just doesn’t work. High prices, poor food and waitstaff trying to do their best with what they are given. Great location simply won’t justify the poor food served up today. The wagyu beef risotto was totally tasteless and unappealing especially at $38 per serve. We certainly won’t be back.

The ocean view from the restaurant is super relaxing but this place needs some upgrade. They need some interior work as well as they should arrange some training for their staff too. They are not rude, they just don’t know how to smile or react with a customer. Specially when you work in a hospitality industry, your body language & facial expressions should be welcoming.
Now if I talk about the food, mmmm nah, it’s not special. I ordered chicken wings (very dry & lack of seasoning), fish & chips (from a restaurant on the beach, you expect good fish & chips but it’s average) & coffee..

Great view right on the beach with a nice bright and open relaxed interior. Had battered fish and chips and oysters Kilpatrick. The fish was a generous portion with a nice light but still crispy batter. The chips had paprika seasoning and the salad was decent.
The oysters were good although not large and there was some shell in some.

Came here for lunch with friends the other day and the food didn't disappoint. Friendly and prompt service with amazing views looking across the ocean.

Stopped in for a couple of beers.
Great views for the deck. Beer nice and crispy cold. Were asked if we wanted water… Sparkling or Still. We ordered still as didn’t want to particularly pay for sparkling water this time, just for a beer stop. Turns out that the “Still Water” is actually bottled water from Italy!! And yes. You have to pay for it.
Would have been nice to be informed of this upon ordering. I feel it was a sneaky way to get more money. I would have preferred just plain tap water for free as we only went in for a beer anyway.
Total cost for two beers and water was over $30!!
I’ve now learned to ask if the water is free!!
