Don't know about the rooms but have heard that they are very clean. The swimming pool is lovely and clean also. If going for a meal, the dining area is clean, friendly service and the food is 4.5 stars. It will be good when hotels bring back roast vegetables and do away with the boring covid salad. The quirky 50s decor is nostalgic and they even have a fun area to keep kids occupied. Can highly recommend it. No loud piped music either. If I had to make one suggestion for improvement, it would be to jazz up the lacklustre entrance way but the inside makes up for it.

We’ve had lunch here twice this month both times all meals were great. Five diners so we all ordered different meals but they were all lovely, good portions without being over the top. All meals came out together. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere different with the retro style. A bus where kids can eat, inside the hotel, we ordered our meals from a caravan, again inside. There were lots of interesting areas for meals and drinks. Very happy, we will go back for sure 👍

We loved our stay in The Peninsula. The staff were friendly, accommodating. Their customer service is like no other.||The amenities heated pool and gym were great. We were the only ones using it despite having other guests stay in. It felt private and exclusive. The room is spacious. We had our kids playing and running around freely. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure was strong. The aircon worked perfectly. Room was modern and clean. ||The adjoining pub is great too. Loved that we could order for pick up or eat in the restaurant. Reasonable prices with generous portion. Yummy too!||We absolutely loved it there. We even have already recommended to friends. Thank you so much for a lovely stay☺️

We stayed for a week during the Easter break in 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. Daily cleaning and refilling were provided, including fresh towels, milk, water, snacks, tea, and coffee. It’s great value for money and highly recommended for couples and families. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Had my birthday lunch with my family 9 adults and two children. Everyone was very satisfied with the food great quality and large portions. The staff was very accommodating and appreciate the waitress bringing out my daughter a kids bag with crayons and a colour activity too do.
Prompt with the online booking and great decor clean baby changing facilities. Will definitely come again

Our second time staying at The Peninsula.
Lovely facility, comfortable king size beds, friendly customer service.
Accommodation is next to the hotel, so easy access for dinner.
Modern retro rooms and pool area, and mid century vintage adornments to an iconic bus and caravan, booths for small groups,
Location maybe further out but the amenities and service make up for a great stay.
We will return again

I had the pepperoni pizza, it was delicious. Dined with three others, all our meals were served close together and in a reasonable time after ordering. Everyone enjoyed the food and service.

Loved the room design and decor. They were spacious and inviting.
Dinner at the hotel was delicious (chicken salad was one of the best things I’ve eaten)
