Very happy to find this cute cafe. Friendly service and the cappuccino was exactly how I ordered it - very frothy, chocolate covered, creamy texture and tasted great! Pre prepared sandwiches all wrapped separately which makes you feel confident it’s kept fresh and clean. Only fault would be the that a couple of tables could have been cleaner.

The Dunes is a small but appealing cafe. The decor is great, warm, and welcoming. I enjoyed my coffee. The meals took so long to arrive. I suppose this is to be expected in a small cafe with a small kitchen. They were excellent when they did arrive. Beautifully presented and generous. The poached eggs on one meal were a little undercooked, in my opinion.

Fantastic little coffee shop. Friendly service, the coffee has a fantastic taste to it and my wife loved her hot chocolate. Haven't tried the food yet but mouth was watering watching other customers meals come out. Will definitely be back Definitely recommend checking them out!!
*Update have been back on more than one occasion, their breaky food is to die for and drinks have been super quick since!!

The Dunes is Brilliant for a weekend breakfast! The Benny is delicious & cooked to perfection. Cappuccino is spot on: good strength & frothy. The cool decor & music make for a chilled atmosphere.

I ordered bacon and poached eggs on toast for $16 at counter
I didn't have to wait long for my order
No butter was provided, I'm not sure if I had to request it when ordering?
The toast was somewhat hard
The bacon did not taste the best and part of it had uncooked rhine
One of the poached eggs egg white was not fully cooked, still transparent
The food was not hot, just warm
I persevered but then I thought no this is not good enough
I Informed Staff/owner of the hard toast and uncooked egg white only
I received an apology but no offer of a refund
I asked for a refund, the reaction was that of surprise but gave me a refund
Service was friendly and polite
Well done for giving a refund

To respond to the owners comment, my plate was definitely not empty, the uncooked poached egg and 2 strip's of bacon were left on the plate..If you receive a meal that was not up to ones expectations, I.e. partly uncooked then the least the owner should do is offer a refund or a new meal..I don't appreciate being accused of not telling the truth..

Coffee was quite nice and the service was friendly but we were disappointed with the eggs Benedict. Cold hollandaise from a jar - which when your paying nearly $20 is not expected. When you can pay the same up the street for house made hollandaise this place should be worried they’ll be passed over for the competition when looking for a breakfast spot.

Bacon and Eggs was lovely, couldn’t have tasted any better, butter melted on the toast was sublime. Chefs definitely underpaid taste of the salt from his tears added a notch of flavour. Even Gordon Ramsay couldn’t compete.
