I have generally stuck to creamy, nutty, chocolate blends of coffee. I was blissfully surprised by the gorgeous sweet tropical taste of the coffee at High Tide. It was very refreshing. This combined with my Donburi Bowl was a recipie for a delightful lunch that didn't leave me feeling groggy.
High Tide also offers a range of delectable treats in their refrigerated cabinet, including a blood orange pistachio slice. Smiley face biscuits and dog biscuits are always a great sight to see.
The cafe offers a unique chai experience, using traditional sieves and hot water poured into a mug.
Looks are deceiving for this cafe. It's not till you look in the windows and realise the sheer size of the dinning area. You have the first original shop front area, a second indoor dining area and the third being an undercover outdoor dog friendly area.
All gender toilets on-site.

High Tide Cafe at Semaphore has such a lovely, warm, and inviting feel to it. I've popped in a few times just for coffee, and each
time it's been absolutely perfect with a fantastic aroma. I've been eyeing the breakfasts coming out of the kitchen, and they look incredibly appealing and delicious. I'm definitely making it a point to go back soon and enjoy a full breakfast experience!

Very good experience here today, a Sunday morning. Tasty brisket burger, almond custard croissant 🥐 large enough for two people to share. The juice is the biggest surprise. Very exquisite taste, hard to describe, but the combination of the fruits are definitely carefully thought through and selected. Would like to try again if we have chance.

First time in Adelaide and a first for the High Tide Cafe in Semaphore. Absolutely enjoyed my Eggs Benedict. Staff greeted upon entry and directed where to order. Pleasant experience with that cafe atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, I recommend coming here if you haven't.

We visited the place with our cousins as they live in Semaphore and enjoyed their breakfast here. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast tasty and good presentation. The atmosphere is okay, the restaurant is long. . Highly suggest to make a booking if 4 persons and more. Operation when we arrived was busy, no one greeted or seated us. The staff do not connect with customers, no warm service, sad as this place could be better.

Was one of the most disappointing lunches I’ve had in a while.
Ordered the chicken burger and it was seriously so salty I couldn’t eat it.
I was told that the chicken was stored in a brine solution. (For how many days I wonder?)
The chicken was a grey colour and I wasn’t game to eat it.
When I told the waitress she agreed but couldn’t find the chef to speak to me about it.
I wasn’t offered any refund of any kind or even a sorry.
Another food place in Semaphore I won’t be returning to and won’t recommend to anyone. 🤢
