Nothing 'primo' about it. Food is overwhelmingly average. They're invested in a premium image but cannot deliver anything more. I've never felt welcomed by staff, feel more like an obstacle in their way. Please add some colour to the plate (green), choose better quality ingredients & learn how to dress a dish nicely.

Food drenched in oil. I gave it back to the staff advising I couldn’t eat it - meaning I wanted a freshly cooked meal without so much oil. However the waitress returned within 1 minute giving me the exact same food back but just on a clean plate. Disgusting food and service.

I have eaten at other Cafe Primo branches my whole life and it has always been amazing!!

I went on a date night with my partner at this one for the first time and words can not describe how appalled I was at how gross the food was!
The Garlic Bread was dripping in oil and fat and was so soggy that the cheese was soaking through the bottom, the pasta I got was also completed sitting in oil and that was only a small portion of it and lastly my partners burger, the meat pattie was also covered in and dripping so much oil.
Severely disappointed and will never be going there again!!! Stay away if you like your organs healthy and functional. Service was good but the staff didn’t seem to want to be there. Very disappointing for $100+

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. The food was far below my expectations, and the customer service was poor. While the place looks beautiful, the quality of the food does not match the ambiance. The staff seemed uninterested and unmotivated. I feel like I wasted my money and will not be returning. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Paid $16.90 for a plate of nachos….cheese not melted, avocado not fresh, corn chips burnt. Needless to say I will not be going back. An employee observed me taking plate back to counter & asked if everything ok. I told him no it was awful. So service is lame too. I wanted to ask for my money back but I’m not confrontational

Went a few weeks ago out with my friends for dinner, and I made the mistake of booking the wrong day (tired work brain) and the lady was very understanding and gave me a table that was not reserved and the food was nice and the food came out quickly. Overall was pretty happy with the outcome 🙂

Had Mother’s Day 2025 there with my family which I booked for 430 we rang to change the booking to be told we didn’t have a booking so we made a booking for 530 due to work commitments when we got there we were told we had a booking at 5 which I was still at work and we only had an hour to order and eat due to another booking keep up the good work very disappointed on the important day for my wife and family !!!!!

The design choices and aesthetics of this place would make anyone think it's some sort of upscale pub/sports bar. The quality of the food doesn't justify the high prices on the menu, though. I came here with friends and really wanted to like this place, but the service didn't meet our expectations and we left disappointed.

It seems like from other reviews I have seen about this place that the kitchen has a problem with quality and temp control, clearly. The chicken burger I ordered was dry and chewy. Clearly overcooked. Same with the bacon. It makes it hard to eat. Large garlic bread was more like the consistency of a pancake to me. I like the fact that it's made to order. Atleast it was for us. The staff on the floor seemed friendly and welcoming which was another positive. The chips were also pretty good. I think where this business falls short is that it seems like the owner or restaurant manager just doesn't seem to care about reviews criticising the quality of the food. Rebooking or refunding something for a customer is easy. Managing your kitchen staff should be the bigger priority here. It literally seems like the manager cannot be assed to give customers compassion in any of the review replies. I understand the customer isn't always right - there's two sides to every story and whatnot. But come on, as a owner/manager, you can see that there is a pattern here where your staff fall short on quality and service, so you should be doing something about it.
