It was something new, understood the chef can have a different recipes and actually it's unique this way but it's just not what I love when come to Italian food. Pizza was great tho, the crush the thickness was perfect. Pasta felt too creamy both prawns and truffle mushroom, beef capaccio presentation was stunning but for me I just don't think it pair well with spring onion and tangerine.
But over all we had a good time there. The place is cozy and clean the staff was nice.

Have been here a few times with my visiting family from out of town and had a nice meal and experience each time. Food is excellent and presented well and some of the dishes stand out better than others. We went for dinner on the weekend which is quite busy, so would recommend sitting outside at this time as inside gets quite loud due to all the hard surfaces causing bad acoustics and therefore becomes hard to talk. We had focaccia, strachiatella and salt and pepper squid for starters, all very good. Then had spaghetti king prawns, mushroom and truffle tagliatelle, and lasagne for mains. The first two were excellent, the lasagne was tasty but a bit on the small side and didn’t have the usual layers you’d expect. Unfortunately they couldn’t make us a coffee afterwards as they were out of milk. If not for a few small misses I would have given 5 stars.

We came here for oysters, king prawn pasta (giant prawns, must have found these things in Jurassic park) and diavola pizza. All great, friendly service and great environment, very open and breezy but also cozy.

Let’s start with the undressed rocket that accompanies the $52 steak matched with the waitress that removes a dog bowl and then serves us our food. Perhaps it was the under salted polenta chips…or the preparation of closing the establishment when there’s still patrons and it is not even 8.30pm. Walk further down the road and get better scenery and better quality of service. On the plus side, at least it was open in Good Friday and the steak was cooked well (just needed a sauce to accompany it).

One of my new favourite restaurants to go to.

The food is fresh and full of flavour. From fresh tomato, spatchcock cooked to perfection and handmade pasta that you can see is made perfectly before even eating it.

The atmosphere is peaceful with good lighting, professional waitstaff and music that sets the scene for a relaxing night. There was no noisy customers getting drunk and talking over the music, there was no music over powering the room. It’s a humble restaurant where everyone goes to enjoy good Italian food, relax and share conversation… just how it should be.

I can’t wait to come back and try more items.

Delicious Italian done right!
I had the Truffle Tagliolini and it was absolutely divine – rich, creamy, perfectly cooked pasta with just the right amount of truffle. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The Pizza was on point and delicious The vibe of the place matched the food – warm, stylish, and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!
The staff and manager was super friendly and attentive. Cocktails were sooo good! Would recommend this to anyone that wants amazing Italian!
