The staff are lovely, the coffee is average, and the eggs Benedict is horrendous.

The cabinet food I've had from here previously is better than what I ordered.

We ordered 2x hazelnut lattes and although they weren't bad they weren't good. We have had better around the corner in Hawthorne. It lacked any flavour, tasted more like a regular latte and a bit on the bitter side/ tasted over extracted. Coffee lacked any body.

I ordered the eggs Benedict substituting the croissant with sourdough toast. The bacon was hard and stale, the poached eggs were well under to the point the egg whites were not cooked and translucent, and were snotty in texture, the spinach you received was three leaves and a small drizzle of hollandaise. The presentation was annoying to eat due to both eggs being placed on one slice of toast and the bacon on the other so in order to eat it as a meal you had to deconstruct it to reconstruct it so you had toast, spinach, bacon then egg and hollandaise. The bread was tough to the point of when trying to cut through it your bacon would land on the table. Trying to pick up the bacon with a fork took 4-5 stabs. The hollandaise did taste good though... Just not enough for a meal.

Pretty disappointed, but know now to not order this dish from them.

My partner ordered the waffles and didn't complain.

Absolutely love Vivo Café in Morningside! The coffee here is outstanding—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every single time. Their prices are surprisingly affordable, offering exceptional value for such top-quality coffee. But the highlight of my morning visits is always Chloe. She makes every customer feel genuinely welcomed and remembered, bringing a warmth and positivity that's truly special. Even though parking along Lytton Road can sometimes be a challenge, it's more than worth the effort to find a spot and walk in. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fantastic coffee and wonderful service!

Quite a good cafe choice, especially if you’re looking for something out of the sun & not as bustling as Bulimba’s main street.
I was very happy with the Bircher bowl. The muesli is soaked through well & does not contain any hard kernels, outside of the tasty crunchy topping. The yoghurt topping is honeyed Greek.
Muesli $15. All day burger $17. Iced chai almond latte $6.80.

Just a nice friendly place to have a coffee, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Really good coffee, and the food is always beautifully presented.

Coming from Melbourne we are a little fussy with cafes, when I arrived at the highway location I had some doubts. But they were soon abated with the cool way they have decorated the place and then the coffee! Delish! Wished for another one. Acai bowl was good too, couldn’t even finish it! Highly recommended if you are out this way.

My second visit, being back in the area a year after the first (see first review below). It says something that I’d remembered my experience and looked forward to going back. Expectations were high… and they were surpassed. Different staff but just as friendly and prompt. Ordered the avocado smash again and it was amazing. They’d tweaked it, elevating it to something a bit unique, but still classic. Coffee was excellent. Really good. It was busier this year too, at the same time of day, so word is getting out. From my experiences at some of the best cafes in South East Qld, this is awfully close to the top. Crazy considering the location! Worth going out of your way for.
