Backstreet Cafe is conveniently situated on the esplanade at one of the entry/exit points of Mantra Mooloolaba. For parking, you have several options: on the street along the esplanade, at the shopping area behind with Coles, or underneath Mantra, provided there are available spots at the time of your visit.

The pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially considering the prime location with stunning views of the esplanade, beach, and water!

Service was relatively quick. You’re seated at a table with water and a menu, and when you’re ready to order, you simply head to the counter to place your order and pay—there's no card surcharge!

Drinks arrived after a short wait, followed closely by the food. Both the food and drinks were excellent, but it was truly the location and ambiance of the morning that made the experience unforgettable.

Fantastic!!!! Food was amazing . . .best I've eaten out in a very long time. Suited all tastes and ages everyone enjoyed their food. Loved being able to share and try so many smaller dishes . . Highly recommend we will go back . . And we live in Landsborough hard to get pics . .everyone dove on the food it was soooo good

Beautiful strong oat latte milk texture was perfect! this gets the Melbourne Barista Coffee snob seal of approval from me. Great prices and large servings of food not tight arse like most places now adays. Keep up the great work guys 👍🏽 I’ll be frequenting here till I head back to Vic

Very underwhelming... Stopped by for a quick breakfast, poached eggs on toast. For $15 plating was a bit lack luster, no attempt was made to make it looks appealing at all. The poached eggs were runny which was a positive but over all a very average breakfast considering how many great cafes are on the esplanade. A few shops down have the same dish for only $13. Iced coffee was ok but a bit bitter. Unfortunately I wouldn't rush back

Awesome start to our day.
Food was plentiful and delicious. Corn fritters are the yummiest I've had. Gun Cotton coffee the best.
Friendly and welcoming staff, even from their regular customers.
Great atmosphere. Will definitely be a returning customer.
