First time here & unfortunately not the best - but I believe there’s always room for improvement!

We ordered from the table as we could see the staff were busy but when my tea came, no eye contact or friendliness from the staff member. She forgot my spoon & sugar so had to ask another staff member who was lovely & brought them over.

The space although was nice, was not very clean. We had to clean the table we were on ourselves & we noticed other tables after us were doing the same - no one could get anyone’s attention to clean that one table even went up & grabbed a cloth & spray bottle that was on the side of the counter & cleaned their table - while the 3 staff members were at the counter busy making orders, but that was all their attention was focused on. Although it was windy outside, it was very hot inside & the fans were doing nothing for anyone, the sweat on us all was obvious.

Our meals came out & it was yummy, nothing fancy - except for the price. For $38.33 that I paid for, I mean you be the judge.

Free parking on the road & there is a paid open carpark. Accessibility available for prams & mobility vehicles but not sure about amenities. This is a dog friendly cafe.

Unfortunately I won’t be back, better to go to the shopping centre that was literally another block away & have options that are value for money.

The place has potential, but the young girl with long black curly hair has ZERO personality and couldn’t take the correct order. Food as average at best. Not worth the visit for food. Coffee is good, no issues there.

Disappointing. Lotus used to be THE place for breakfast. Unfortunately things have changed since our last visit.

Order via an app which charges a surcharge of $3.63 for the privilege. Menu very reduced only eggs your way, eggs Benny, pancakes or acai bowls on offer for breakfast. My coffee came in a takeaway cup, while everyone else I saw was served theirs in a proper cup
Meals took 30 minutes to come when the cafe was not even half full. Eggs benny had one small slice of sourdough, not buttered and the eggs were over cooked. Coffee was so-so. My partner had the coffee thick shake which was very good though.

Service felt impersonal and the whole experience disconnected.

Lotus used to be packed on a weekend, I can see now why it was so quiet today. Give this one a miss, it's not what it used to be.

Open air seating and indoor seating. I always like a little bit of energy and friendliness from staff. I only tried the cinnamon scroll which lacked a bit of cinnamon flavour for my liking. It looked great though. Coffee was good. Needed to ask for a napkin and cutlery as wasn’t accessible for patrons and as was given in a take away box even though eating in, it didn’t come with any.

I came here on Saturday 24 May, as my previous experience here was positive. However, I won’t be back after this experience.

I ordered the smashed avo, which comes with two eggs as per the menu via the QR code. It came out with one. When I asked the lady behind the counter why it had one egg, she said that the menu had been changed, but just not been updated yet. I explained to her that it had not updated, that the menu said two eggs. I paid for two eggs, I expect two eggs. She was rude, and it felt like she just did not want to rectify the issue.

After much back and forth, and after mentioning consumer law, she decided she would get me another egg.

In general, the food was mediocre at best. The ‘toast’ was tough, and the meal was lacklustre. Further, the staff were in no rush to clean tables, with some plates and cups sitting on tables for 20 mins or more with flies on the leftovers.

Sorry lotus Cafe not today phone manner was horrible, but face to face was worse. Stood at the counter with a grumpy face looking at me for 3 minutes when another guy shows up looking pretty upset that we were there at all. I tell him I'm here for my reservation. He says OK just sit where ever that's available. Lol what a joke. We left. No money for you guys guys today. Do better

Have been here a few times before to have coffee and breakfast and was quite surprised yesterday to see how low the quality of food has really dropped. I ordered açai bowl with flat white whereas my wife ordered salmon Benny (changed to scrambled eggs) with cappuccino. The coffee was really just hot milk. I could not taste any coffee at all in there. I felt like I was drinking a babycinno which we generally order for our toddler. I could not finish it and was the worst coffee I have ever had. The açai was all frozen in the bowl and I had to literally wait for it unfreeze/melt. They messed up my wife’s order and instead of scrambled eggs sent an omelette which was burnt at the bottom. We had to get that replaced which they happily did. The seating is good and there was plenty of space for my toddler to ride his bike and that was the only high point of our stay. Overall below average experience and I doubt if we will be heading back there any time soon!

Came here for brunch with friends and was underwhelmed. Service was slower than usual, and the staff couldn’t remember what drinks they were handing us.

I had a Salmon eggs benny which on the app said came with avocado. Got it handed to me, said it was missing avocado, staff said it doesn’t come with avocado and gave us attitude. If that’s the case then you should be updating your online menu to reflect it.

Food was average, not the best but not the worst.

Used to be a really good place a few years ago, sad it’s gone downhill.
