Went there because of the 4 star reviews. Absolute garbage. Worst chippy we have been to since we havebeen travelling Australia for the last 18 months. Chips awful. Battered sausage totally undercooked and only half a snag. Fish..oh my god absolutely awful. I have eaten fish from chippies all over Australia this is the worst. Sorry guys you were lovely people but seriously food was bad. Undercooked wet and not eatable.

Thus is a great traditional fish and chip shop in South Albury. The guys that own it always give you extra potato cakes or chips or something more than you order. They have never once in over thirty years got my order wrong. Cash only which can be a little annoying when you forget but they do have an ATM there. I really like the traditional home made chips and burgers. True blue fish and chip shop.

We love this fish and chip shop. In fact it’s the only fish and chip shop we shop at in Albury. Always great service, polite and the food is great. We’ve been to others for fish and chips in the past but haven’t since going to this great shop!!!

The worst fish , chips, hamburger, I've ever had.
Plus the price , 3 pieces of fish, family chips 3 potato cakes and a hamburger , 1 bottle of Fanta $77.00 . Absolutely disgusting

Ran in to grab a drink on the way to work as with all the other reviews cash only. Guy behind the counter looked like he hated his life don't bother, theirs nice cafes in either direction on the same street give them your business instead

rude costumer service, when I asked for grilled fish to be told in the up most rudest way (that will take a while to cook as its gets done on the hot plate.
but keep in mind it was being grilled with other meats.
also, when handing me my order, I asked for chicken salt for the man to raise his voice ( saying you didn't order that, and I have already put salt on it) the chips where soggy with my salad and fish. my partners and kids meal was passable.
