Really disappointed with our food. The food was awful and the coffee was just as bad — weak, burnt and tasted old. We specifically asked for no sauce on the bacon and egg roll, but they put mayonnaise on it anyway. It completely ruined the meal.
Poor attention to detail and no care for customer requests. Definitely won’t be back.

Hoped that a new name would bring a more positive experience… I was wrong. To start, No signage indicating it’s not table service. 35 minute wait for drinks, staff are rude. Music is so loud that staff struggle to even take your order. After drinks delivered, waited another 10 minutes to receive the final drink (had to ask the wait staff for it) he returned and said it wasn’t on Their system, our receipt proved otherwise. Drink came half full… a bit like their customer service and capacity. Eggs on toast came with a side of hair, no hair nets to be seen in the kitchen. There is a reason places like thick as thieves is absolutely packed on Mother’s Day… don’t waste your time on this place. I would expect that any cafe in this location could absolutely location to do amazing things,
But with this service and experience… not this one.

Waitresses were lovley, unfortunately food was severley lacking. Cups brought out for water were filthy and had remenants of previous use. Ordered Ceaser salad with the GFO, as it comes with croutons- what came out was mixed greens such as spinach, chunks of carrot, raw onion and i believe cabbage with balsamic vinegar and chicken strips were incredibly dry.
Whilst understanding needing to make it GF this was absolutely nothing even close to a ceaser salad and i dont think should be advertised as such. Partners chicken tacos were alright, little on the dry side but still had flavour. Coffee was great. Would not go back, menu description could use an upgrade to correctly reflect descriptions and more time spent cleaning utensils and cutlery.

Neither the food or coffee was very inspiring. However the spot was nice, and the service was good.

Walked into an empty restaurant—apparently too crowded for anyone to take my order. Asked for a vanilla latte, got a regular latte instead. Maybe “vanilla” was too exotic? Then they handed me three cups like I’m some kind of octopus. Had to request a tray, which felt like asking for a favor. If you’re into guessing games and juggling acts, this might be your spot. Bit too pricey for the items and services offered.

Opens early at 7am. Nice selection for breakfast. Hubby was really happy with the salmon crepe. I opted forscrammbled egg and bacon (photo I had removed the sour dough bread). Would visit again. Service quick and friendly.

I loved my visit to the 2014 AD cafe. The Korean omelette was the best I’ve ever had -so flavorful and perfectly cooked! The coffee was great too, and the staff were super friendly. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy delicious food. Highly recommend!
