Bask in the full wash of an orchestra, choir, jazz band and organist. This is the Wollongong Conservatorium Christmas gala concert. A truly remarkable concert, packing a monstrous punch . Full throttle and fun with Dan Barnett with vocalist Trish Delaney-Brown and soprano Kirsten Jones. It's a great shot of musical talent and joyous tunes. If you get a chance to visit Wollongong's Town Hall, grab it. Don't miss anything fun.

Dreadful venue ! First experience saturday 17th August to see Augustin Hadelich with the Sydney Symphony.
The floor is all one level so lots of heads blocking view, acoustics not great. 15 minutes into the performance, a violin solo, a group of late arrivals were allowed to enter and disrupt the audience, why weren't they locked out until interval ? A woman in front of me several times held her phone up and took photos and another bogans phone rang. Bogans everywhere !

Went to "Leaving Jackson" a Johnny Cash tribute type show tonight 29 August. It was very disappointing. We were 6 rows from the front and the sound was awful. It was very muffled, sounded like it was projecting towards the stage rather than to the audience and even the main singers voice was muffled. We left at the interval as we couldn't bear it any longer.

We attended Tex Perkins Saturday 23rd September. The show was great but seating was a disgrace. $109 @ ticket, for both of us to look at the back of the heads of people in front. The seats should be staggered so at least you have a chance of seeing some of the act. If seating is to be set like that I'd expect cheap seats not premium pricing. Won't be back.

During the show, we found it annoying each time the staff behind the bar counter opened up the bottle fridge allowing a bright light to shine put into the room. Really detracts from enjoying the on-stage performance. Perhaps when the performance is on, drinks are only dispensed from one end of the bar, severely limiting the bright illumination from the fridge when the door is opened. Perhaps install a curtain which can be drawn around 75% of the bar area. Other than the "shining", a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Poor seating, seating not teared making it difficult to see the performers,
The bar has a very poor selection of drinks
The actual show was very good ie Frankie's boys
If this venue is the best we San do in Wollongong we have a problem.

Max

Seating was good but obviously no tiering because of flat floor, acoustics weren't ideal for this entertainment (Wharf Review) but event was well run and good value. Show content very funny and well performed as usual
