The two stars are purely for the friendly staff, they were the only positive part of our visit.

I ordered Battered Fish with Fries, but what I got was a pile of fries with just three small pieces of fish on top. The portion was disappointing and not worth the price.

We also got a waffle for my son, which was clearly frozen and ready-made. It had no real flavour and felt very low quality.

There’s a small indoor play area next to the restaurant, which is likely why many families stop by. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend spending money here based on our experience.

I knew they had missed my food order because the server asked if I was waiting for food - even with my order number card was clearly visible on the table. When the food eventually came out, eggs on sourdough, there was no care in presentation, the poached eggs were shrivelled
and looked like an after thought. Waiting over 1/2 hr for that was outrageous.

The saving grace was the excellent 5-star

I recently visited The Shed Cafe and had a wonderful experience. We tried The Shed Breakfast Plate and an almond croissant—both were fresh, delicious, and very satisfying.

The oat milk coffees were fantastic! The oat milk added a nice creaminess that made the coffee smooth and tasty.

The cafe has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable for the generous portion sizes. There’s also a kids’ play area nearby, which is perfect for families.

Overall, The Shed Cafe is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to return!

The food was great and affordable. The coffee was well brewed and hot. The food can quick and the employees were very kind. The atmosphere had a tint of home and warmth. Overall this cafe was definitely one of the best experiences in my life.

Been here so many times but forget to review! Great food and there’s a play area next door for kids to play while waiting for food. The Shed at ED Square is awesome.

Plenty of tables and food and service is really good!

So hungry in the morning after our Exercise. It was 7.30am and they were open. Tried their gooooood coffee..
And also their Bacon egg burger and also their Sourdough and eggs. So yum..
Friendly staffs and helpful.
Will definitely come back again when we are around the area.

Good value and selection of food.

I ordered this from Uber Eats while working from home. They had a good promotion as well, which was a Bacon and Egg Roll included when spending over $35.
Ice coffee was delicous and hit the spot.

Reasoning for only 3 stars (would have been 3.5 stars if the option was there):

- the poached eggs we more boiled eggs, yolk was hard not runny.
- I ordered and paid for an extra egg however only got the 2 eggs.
- a large strand of hair was in my big breakfast.

If not for those 3 items, I would have probably given 5 stars.

I would still give them another chance in the future.

It was such a good decision to have sit for our unplanned sudden meal at the Shed. Quality food, courteous service and another big plus - its next to the playground! We were also surprised by the fact that they are halal certified.
