Not just a coffee shop!

When I first walked into Barista Miss, I was intrigued about the new cafe (neighbours had raved about) that had set up in our main street. On approach was greeted so warmly, I had decided to cheat on my usual cafe to try something different. Well... wow! Not only was the coffee amazing but I think I had found some new friends. These gals are coffee experts who simply wish to be a part of your morning ritual and really care about helping you start your day with a kicker coffee.

Hot day? “try a cold brew”, in a rush and hangry?, “hemp bliss ball and custom coffee to go”, cold and down? “pull up a pew and let’s talk it through”... Going on a year and a half, I am still greeted with the same warm smiles and gestures as always, coffee to perfection sending me on my way to kick start the day.

Jill and her staff do a great coffee. I don't live in the area any longer but I've been going here since they opened and I've never been disappointed.

I needed a quick coffee and croissant while the wife was having her hair cut.
Jake was fast efficient and found the Wi-Fi for me.

Wow I didn’t expect anything too great but certainly didn’t expect this level of poor service.
To start the coffee wasn’t too bad, but that’s not what floored me.
If you’re making a phone order or calling to enquire, be sure that if the boss takes the call she’ll swear and mimic you after she gets off the phone, and have a whinge that someone wants them to do some work.
The smart, patronising and rude remarks about her regulars and loyal customers were disgusting to other staff members, laughing and jeering, and in hindsight i wish I had have called her on it there and then but was too gobsmacked.
The attitude towards those who keep her in business is so contemptuous. I’m embarrassed for her.
Steer clear and head somewhere else.

We came in Sunday morning for takeaway coffee and breakfast. The service was outstanding - very friendly, efficient, and great coffee! Shame we live an hour away or we'd be there more regularly!
