Having stayed with Ian and team on numerous occasions, I have always been impressed with the state of the rooms and the friendly country style service.|On my recent stay I walked into a recently refurbished room and "WOW" .... super impressed!|Really clean and modern room "State of the art " |The main attraction is Ian's breakfast, delivered to your room at the time of your choosing, top notch!|Cowra is a great destination with so much history and local attractions, a great family destination. |Highly recommended stay.

Everything about staying at Econo Lodge Alabaster was perfect. You won't find a better place to stay in Cowra. ||The host, Ian, was warm and welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we stepped through the door. The entire place was immaculately clean and a pleasure to enter. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. The modern bathroom was clean and spacious with a full glass shower which was lovely and hot with good pressure. The lasagna dinner was delicious. Thank you so much Ian for a wonderful stay. We will be back. 🙂

Can’t fault this place at all. Really helped us out giving us a room that was pet friendly at short notice. The room was freshly renovated and very clean. Parking was great, parked right out the front of the room. The best value hotel stay I’ve had in a long time too. I’ve a paid a lot more and got a lot less at other places.
Woke up feeling well rested and relaxed.

Ian was rather rude, and the room
was dirty. An apology from Choice hotels was issued, photos added. It seems standards vary based on who you are, discrimiation. Update response to owmer reply Sat 19/07/25 : I left after three days and stayed elswhere in Cowra for the week, many Australians have asthma and allergies, so lack of cleaning is negligent, as dust triggers health issues. No matter what star rating the motel is, cleanliness is a virtue and good habit we can all afford. I would have checked out earlier if able to, and was not able to place my luggage on top of the wardrobe as the excessive dust would have damaged my bags, and fallen on me and my clothes when I took my bags down, and yes Ian, you were rude, quite so. The dirty carpet photo was behind the bed, and for over $100.00 per night during the week, you would expect that is a very expensivd 2 star price. Grab a broom Ian, before just grabbing peoples money, and treat people with respect.

We have stayed here a few times and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cowra. Great rooms, comfortable bed, lovely shower, very clean, and our two dogs love it there too. They also do home cooked meals delivered to room if you don't want to go out|Thanks Ian.|Gus and Cheryl

Ian and the team were fantastic, and I had a great experience. I highly recommend it to sales reps, families, and all travelling. Nothing was a problem, and the rooms were immaculate and tidy, with a pool and well-kept garden. You won't find better in Cowra. Make sure you order the cooked breakfast, good old style country cooking.………………

The room and amenities were very clean, the air conditioner was brilliant on a 40 degree day. The bed was very firm which I prefer, water pressure is great. There were dinner options available that I didn’t take advantage of but looked alright. Considering where the Econolodge is situated I found it to be a very quiet area.

Enjoyed my stop over on route to Canberra at the Econo lodge Alabaster, a pet friendly cozy motel in Cowra. Highly recommended. Great value. Excellent service . Tidy room. Delighted to find ample, lux towels provided. Little luxury with kind service. It’s that everything you could ask for? 5 stars
