Would be nice if the pool was ever actually open! Port Hedland council please sort this out as it is unacceptable to have a pool closed most of the year. Especially in this heat and lack of acceptable beaches to swim at. In response to below reply: Unheated? This is the Pilbara it doesn't need to be heated obviously, open the pool and everyone from Port will go to the pool. No one wants to drive to south to go for a swim.

Staff are friendly, easy access and spacious open outdoor poor with generous lanes. BBQ and picnic area which is great for family's, Shaded grass area for hot days. Staff are always near by keeping an eye on everything. Like most places you'll need to pick the right time that suits you. Personally I like it while it's quiet with no screaming kids for a more relaxing experience so late afternoons / early evenings are a good time.

It was my leg day quite un happy!! As my normal gym was closed and I'd never been to this gym there was only one leg machine, don't get me wrong nice little gym but if I had known about the equipment there I would not have gone .

Ocean side public pools with great views and plenty of shade sales and palm trees to relax under. 50m pool has three public lanes and a recreational areas. Diving pool and gym also co-located with evening fitness classes and friendly staff who are happy to lend kickboards.

Could be better, get rid of the squash courts, and expand it. Not everyone in Hedland plays basketball either, no need for 5x courts.
Wasted space imo.

Beautiful facility and staff. Worth going for a swim or a BBQ or a day playing volleyball, basketball, conrnhole, or spikeball.
