With most campsites fully booked during the school holidays, I was really lucky to come across this one. The staff were incredibly kind—they let me have a shower for just $5 and even use their laundry. It may seem simple, but it really makes a big difference for travellers like me. Huge thanks for the generosity—much appreciated!

I could not be happier! Had the worst day to be treated by the most gracious lady! I was late and I was 100% accommodated! Rooms were lovely and so clean! Smelled fresh! Can not thank you enough for being so nice to me!

Clean, Genuinely kind,Quiet accommodation.
Came up from Broome to get some certifications for mine work.
And yeah there is pool to chill and BBQ to cook up a steak or two.
Cleaner and nicer accommodation than the mine site.
Have a beer with your meal or grab a quick heat meal from the shop.

Thankyou to the kind people at the desk and the staff in general.

If your a mine worker think they even do a crib here as well.

Lady at the reception is lovely, and the green areas are well maintained. However, the temporary kitchen available was disgustingly dirty and it is ridiculous to have to pay for the bbqs when we already paid for the site. Showers could also use an update, I had to squat to wash my hair, as there was barely any water when I put the shower head up (I am 5’11)

Don’t stay in the campground here! They told us at check in that there were “some kids” going around checking car doors so be sure to lock the car. The “kids” were adults flashing torches in our tent and trying to break into our car from 4am. Didn’t sleep at all from then. Would have gone into the office to complain but we left at 7am once we’d packed up. Don’t recommend, it’s not worth feeling unsafe.

Pulled up and booked a caravan site on the spot. Very friendly staff. As the park is in the throes of being renovated, the amenities are a bit of a down at the moment, but are clean and tidy. The park is very sandy, but the sites are level. This was our 2nd stay here, and will probably stay again when next in South
Hedland.

Extremely disappointed in a message I received from this place, I had booked an executive room for my needs travelling on my own. Flights are booked and this is a business trip I received a message from joy letting me know the people booked before my check in have decided to extend their stay therefor the room I booked was now unavailable amd to down grade, this is not on considering a week before I am heading up to hedland. Right thing to do was let other people know booking has already been booked and this was only option i would never recommend these people the mannerism from joy was not professional at all and told me that is how it is. So don’t book incase it gets changed on you

I was charged $160.00 twice for 1 night stay in a single person donga. When I discovered this on my bank transactions, I saw the lady in the front office to inform her of the double charge. She looked through her system and agreed that they took an extra payment and got me to write down my bank details to refund the overcharge. Two and a half weeks later, the double payment hasn't been refunded. Tried to go on to their web site to get an email address, web site appears to have been taken down. Tried to ring but phone isn't connecting. So I have paid $320.00 for a crappy single person donga. Could have got a nice room in town for less than that, even in Port Hedland.
