Nice atmosphere but.......i made the mistake of ordering food. I Ordered 2 meals an OVER PRICED avocado salad with dukkah and French dressing $29.00 flavours didn't go together at all and my daughter ate probably 4 bites to be polite and the Hawkers dish which was a dripping oil soak roti topped with tofu and drowned in siracha mayo with some brown good dollops on and then a warm salad on top of that and a fried egg on the very top. It was so disgusting that I did not get past the first bite. I tried to just eat the roti but had to scrape the 1/2 bottle of Mayo off and then found it so oily I couldn't eat it. I was legit almost ready to vomit. So all in all I wasted $50 plus dollars on inedible food. Should have just ordered the chips. Would never eat there again.

The rooms were clean, neatly presented, and staff were friendly and helpful.

I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel from the Garden bar, and it wasn't that great, a fair bit of gooey flour under the crumb layer and was almost flavourless. The next few nights were much better, I went into the restaurant part, and they had much better food.
The sirloin steak was to die for, cooked to perfection, and was a massive portion. The steak burger was delicious, and the Thai grilled chicken was really nice. Customer service was great, a few hiccups, but overall staff were amazing.
Definitely advise getting the sirloin steak 👌

Great beer garden! I had not visited previously but had driven past on multiple occasions, I was quite amazed at the size, layout and presentation of the outdoor area. Very family friendly (pram and wheelchair included), the tables and chairs are nicely spaced out with a variety of areas to sit - all was very well shaded and of course overhead water misters to keep you cool. Menu is short but the food is great (portions are on the smaller side). Great for watching sports (large screen at the back and various TVs under the outdoor bar area). We did not venture inside so I cannot comment on that.

The Garden is a beer garden located at the back of Rose and Crown Hotel. I recommend going on the weekend for a great menu and ambience.

The outdoor setting is fantastic. Beautiful garden with historical stables and a lot of seating space.

I recommend the Dirty Potatoes (pictured) and the Napolentana pizza.

Guildford is picturesque and leafy little town. The Rose and Crown is a perfect fit with a laid back front bar option with several beers on tap and a great food selection. If you want a little more variety then 'The Garden' will provide more food options and a fantastic outdoor area to relax and listen to some tunes whilst enjoying a great feed. We visited on a Saturday and were worried that it would be too busy. We needn't have been concerned, the service was excellent and food arrived relatively quickly even though several functions were being held during this time. We look forward to a return visit next time we're in W.A.
