Our accommodation was beyond minimalist verging on Spartan. We like stylishly simple but have never ever stayed in a room so utterly devoid of furniture. ||The bedroom had only the bare essentials - a bed, table, 2 chairs and 4 hangers. Unpacking, even partly, was impossible given zero shelves or drawers for which there would have been ample space. ||The bathroom steamed up after a shower because the ventilation was woefully inadequate. ‘Saving the planet’ necessitated reusing still damp towels. ||Sparkling water on tap is fun as a gimmick but doesn’t make up for neglecting fundamentals like restocking the milk in the minibar.||The no choice ‘light’ breakfast isn’t light but heavy calorie heavy sugar. Just coffee and pastry and that’s all. Happily there are many nearby wider choice breakfast cafes. ||More positively, the location is excellent and the mid 19th century historic feel works well. The room sizes are fine with wooden floorboards, bare white walls, TV, WiFi and safe.||We enjoyed a good Asian fusion meal at the lively, adjacent Emily Taylor restaurant. ||In all we cannot recommend as value for money.

Venue is Amazing, spacious rooms, excellent decor & great amenities. The location is perfect with many pubs, restaurants, funky wine & cocktail bars and activities for days.|Gimlet and Emily Taylor are just a couple that are within the complex.|What set this place apart from the rest was the service, I'm not a needy traveller & rarely ask for anything when staying at hotels but I asked for a little & got alot! Thank you Laura! You made our stay unforgettable & made my wife feel exceptional special. You went above & beyond, we really appreciated it. |We will be back to enjoy the venue & Fremantle again.

We had an absolutely fantastic two-night stay at Warders Hotel Fremantle and couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, making us feel truly welcomed. The hotel offers great value for money, and the location is simply unbeatable — close to wonderful restaurants, the Fremantle Markets, and within easy reach of everything we wanted to explore.||Having a nearby car park arranged through the hotel was a real convenience, making our stay even more enjoyable. Each morning, we delighted in delicious pastries and coffee from Gimlet, which was the perfect start to our days. We also appreciated the complimentary drink at Gimlet in the evening — a lovely touch that added to the overall experience.||The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, and we couldn’t recommend Warders Hotel Fremantle highly enough. We’d definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Fremantle!

Arriving in Perth we chose Freo for accommodation because we planned to get to Wadjemup the next day.|On our preferred booking platform I found the Warders Hotel, which I immediately liked. The rooms looked stylish, not overloaded and combined modern elements with the historic building. |The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Even a complimentary minibar was included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For breakfast you get vouchers for a coffee and pastry at the bar, which works very well.|We also had dinner at the Emily Taylor restaurant (the roasted half duck Peking style) which was very good.|For Travellers who want to visit Rottnest Island: The ferry terminal is just a15 minute walk, easy.|The only thing I would criticize is the fan in the bathroom, it could have more power to get the wet air after a shower out quicker.|We had two very pleasant nights at the Warders and would definitely come back. Thanks guys!

Warders Hotel offers an incredible experience with its warm and welcoming staff. The location is unbeatable, right next to Fremantle Markets and an IGA, with plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars nearby. I highly recommend Moon & Mary, Strange Company, Vin Populi, and Darling Darling.

One of the standout perks is Warders’ own gin bar, Gimlet, where you receive a complimentary welcome drink (house gin, wine, or beer) upon arrival. Breakfast is also served there, a complimentary coffee and pastry, which can also be delivered to your room at your preferred time for no extra charge.

The room amenities are outstanding, with a fully stocked complimentary minibar, including alcohol, soft drinks, milk, and fresh lemon. I especially loved the still and sparkling water on tap, a thoughtful touch that adds to the luxury.

I’m giving four stars because on our second morning, we experienced a temporary power outage in our room, and our breakfast room service we ordered a day before didn’t arrive. When we went down to Gimlet they said our order didn’t show up but we were happy to dine in there instead.

Overall our stay was fantastic, and I would absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located stay in Fremantle!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Warders. Everything was perfect. The rooms have been renovated to a high standard with modern features but retain the original character. I absolutely adored the water taps (still and sparkling). What a great idea! I can't wait to come back for another mini break.

We had a staycation in Freo. The hotel room had a very comfy bed, was in a great location, and the staff provided an excellent service! The water taps and the mini bar were a huge bonus! We had a lovely dinner at Emily Taylor and would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant stay. Nice, quiet room, great location. Enjoyed the gin bar downstairs. Only criticism was that in our room there was a disconcerting smell of cat pee in the bathroom. Not sure if this was some kind of disinfectant or a cat had actually been in there - but it wasn’t pleasant.
