Rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The pub is awesome. Two little details that will ruin your stay: all the smoke from the BBQ goes into your room. The music downstairs is so loud that you can hear it. Unless you plan to drink alcohol like a Viking, don't book this place.

Food is good. Great double cheese burger $26 and very good crunchy hot chips $3.
Pork belly special was delicious albeit a bit sweet and chewy skin for my liking but awesome flavours.
Double check your drinks and prices. I was charged pint price for a schooner. Luckily I had a receipt to show them.
Lemon lime bitters very weak and taste like lime soda.
We used a 25% discount voucher and got 25% less in drink.
Music is very loud for trying to have a conversation while eating so end up having to shout all the time

I'll start with the good, pizza is delicious, if all you want is a pizza and a beer then I fully recommend, the atmosphere is excellent. Unfortunately the rest of our food was very disappointing, a 30 something dollar 'crying tiger' grilled beef that varied between very and inedibly chewy, $24 brisket that while tasty was so dry I had to have a mouthful of drink in order to swallow it. The worst was the fish and chips, a palm sized 5mm thick bit of pan fried fish that was dry and overcooked and a massive plate full of chips to try to justify the cost.

I don't mind if somewhere is expensive and good, or cheap and average, but our meal was expensive and below average.

Stayed with the Norfolk for 5 nights, great value and absolutely legend staff. Lots of nice places to eat near by, as well the pub down stairs which great to come back to. Found the rooms, comfortable and clean, and the service excellent.

I accidentally left my keys in the room and then flew back home which was terrfying, they were good enough to send them back to me straight away. I'm really grateful and would of recommended it anyway. πŸ™Œ Top Spot.

The staff and service were exceptional! They called on the day of check-in to see if I wanted a parking bay reserved, and allowed me to check in early to my room. Service on arrival continued to be really good and friendly, with a complimentary drink at the bar. Opted to get lunch and enjoyed the food. Will definitely be back.

I recently had my 30th birthday at Frankie's bar and I couldn't be happier. The space was perfect for the amount of people I had. The bar staff were very friendly and incredible. The event coordinator Bec was super easy to work with, made my life very easy and sorted any issues we had very quickly all with a big smile. The food was also very good! Would 100% recommend this to my friends as a great location to host any event. Thank you Frankie's and the Norfolk Hotel.

Yet another great night at an awesome venue. Didn’t stay - hence not rated rooms.
Made a large booking which was kindly accommodated in a section we could all
intermingle in. Smoker meat board and sides were excellent - even without the lamb (kindly replaced with extra beef) and the pizzas and pasta were also very much enjoyed. Drinks flowed and the good times rolled. Happy faces all round!
