We went for a business trip taking three couples, a small child and a dog. We had a fantastic weekend, this place is a real gem. We had rooms facing the water with the most incredible view. Sunday morning breakfast at the onsite restaurant, served and cooked by two fabulous staff they did a brilliant job in accommodating our big table of varied orders, delicious. Followed by walks around the river absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean, modern, very comfortable. We would definately come back and stay again. Although next time we might bring some dinner with us as that was a bit tricky if you dont want to go out and drive. This hotel really does have everything, from the pool inside and outside, a very well equipped gym, laundry etc. Very happy.

I took my partner here as a surprise for his birthday, and it was perfect from start to finish. The staff kindly suggested their one-bedroom studio romance package, which was an incredible offer and the view from our room was absolutely stunning!

They went above and beyond, allowing me to drop off some decorations beforehand, which they set up beautifully for the surprise. When we arrived, there was an amazing grazing platter and champagne waiting in the room, along with a thoughtful birthday card and chocolate for my partner.

The facilities were peaceful and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast the next morning was included, with the choice of a buffet or à la carte, the food was delicious and the service fantastic.

Such a hidden gem! We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much for making my partner’s day so special. xx

We stayed in a Queen bed apartment and paid extra for a river view. The room was a good size for just the two of us, but I was disappointed with the scruffy furniture inside and out. The bathroom was clean, but the rest of the room had been wiped clean only. (the doors had dirty finger prints, curtains dusty, floors felt sticky under the feet). The room did not have a comfortable feel - it was cold and stark. On the plus side, the location was fantastic, the river view made the experience. Would have been a 5 star, but we couldn't get parking and it's quite busy for street parking at the weekend. The lady I saw at reception was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall I didn't feel like I got the best value for money.

Stayed here while visiting son in Cottesloe. Great position on Swan river with views of the river. Simple unassuming place which did really good range of breakfasts. |Room itself had all amenities a traveller could need. Fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave. |Small private balcony. |Friendly helpful staff|Free secure parking |Only fault was room very hot with a/c not reaching the bedroom area. |Would not hesitate to return

Had no hot water. Staff wasnt pleasant. Receptions closes at 7. Expect guest to return before 7:45 for registration? Ridiculous service ever met with. Calls get routed to tradewinds hotel and nothing is available after 7pm. Location isnt good. Wont be back.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed out.||||From out arrival the hotel receptionist was the rudest most passive aggressive person I have ever encountered. There was a bit of a misunderstanding in regards to my booking and instead of helping me resolve the issue. This person left me shaking and in tears ruining the weekend I had planned for my friends 40th birthday.||||My husband had booked our stay for us using his qantas points. She wouldn't allow me to check in as it was booked in my husbands name and she needed him to physical be there to check in.|| He is a fifo worker so was not available. I had his qantas card and a photo of his id on my phone I showed her and she was not accepting this and making things really difficult. I offered to call him to authorise the booking but she wouldn't budge. She basically told me too bad. I asked if I could cancel the booking and rebook as I had my friends were waiting in the car and this was meant to be a surprise.||She said I would lose my money and there are no rooms available? I said what about the room that I am cancelling isn't that available she said not for you first in best dressed.||||I was in bits she was not offering any solutions I was pleading with her i was clearly upset and begging her to help resolve this. Her answer was she will have me removed from the premises if i don't calm down. I never once raised my voice and was just begging her to please give me a solution.||I then had to go and confront my friends and tell them the weekend is off. I was so upset and shaking.||||My friends were so kind and understanding and calmed me down I was so embarrassed that I messed this weekend up. We waited about 15mims and we entered reception again we ere going to ask to speak to the manager.||||On the desk now there was another girl she had no issues with my booking happily accepted my husbands id and asked me to call him so she could ask him to authorise the booking over the phone.||||How the previous girl handled the situation was very unprofessional and rude not sure what power trip she was on totally unnecessary and she should defiantly not be working in customer service.||||After all this you would think this was the best 5 star hotel in perth -femantle.||||The floors in the room were absolutely filthy you could feel the grime under your feet.||so many cockroaches and our sheets were itchy and my freind broke out in a rash.||||The view and the outdoor pool were lovely though

This place is absolutely amazing. This was our second stay & we will without a doubt stay here again. Stellar experience.Has a gym, indoor & outdoor pool plus gorgeous views. The breakfast was pretty good & the service was excellent. We had everything we need and it was close to the beach. I wish we would have booked this place longer and highly recommend it. Malibu vibes.

I could not fault this hotel. I stayed 2 weeks as I was in Perth on business. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment that had everything I needed with a beautiful big balcony with partial river views. I found it to be very quite and most importantly for a woman travelling alone, very safe. I felt right at home and made best use of all the resort facilities, indoor pool and spa, outdoor pool, breakfast lounge and gym. The secure parking was an asset as was the complimentary laundry facilities and filtered water and ice station in the gym. The resort had easy access to the river foreshore for beautiful walks or just sitting on the grass. The surrounding neighbourhood was beautiful and the beach was a 5 minute drive away. I chose Pier 21 because it was not in the hectic heart of Fremantle and I was very very glad I did. I seriously did not want to leave, I was very comfortable here and if ever I am in Perth again, there will be no hesitation to stay here again. The only thing that I would maybe implement is no smoking on balconies. As a non smoker, there were days when the neighbouring guests chained smoked on their balconies from early till late which meant I could not enjoy my balcony or open my doors. I chose an apartment style complex because I wanted to be able to open the doors and let fresh air in but sadly could not do this for a number of days. Otherwise, I was completely happy with my stay and thank Pier 21 and all the friendly staff for a fabulous time.
