Coolbardie House - Jarrahdale, Western Australia

Stayed for two nights in Coolbardie House. Rang to confirm bedding would be supplied. Anzie you stated beds would be made and that cleaner would supply us with code for entering premises and neither of these things happened. I had to ring you and search cupboards and make additional beds. Also some maintenance needs to happen on the house. The kitchen overhead light is broken with no bulb. Main toilet is leaking and was noisy on both nights. Laundry was left on clothes line and the floors under bed were dirty. Don’t think that the cleaner had entered the premises prior to our arrival. A book explaining the premises would be most helpful with location of Wifi password etc. On a positive note Jarrahdale Tavern food was excellent and they were most accommodating with their guitar. Wedding at Millbrook Winery was exceptional and a joy.

We stayed at Coolbardie House last night and it was a very pleasant stay. I saw the previous review of 1 star and wanted to leave a much more accurate number.

When we arrived at the house everything was clean and tidy, with plenty of linens to make our own beds.

If you are coming off the Muna Biddi trail (as we were) this house is right along side of the trail and about the third house you see after leaving Roleystone.

I had great interaction with the manager of Coolbardie House and would recommend this house to people wanting to stay in the area.

Coolbardie house Jarrahdale has a home feel. My children &I stayed for Xmas day. Clean house,great WiFi, kangaroos came into feed,as did the wild birds. Loved the jarrah and indigenous art. Anzie, the manager, is lovely,easy to contact & go out her way,to ensure a pleasant stay. From my family, it is 5 star

We had early check in at 1:00, the house seemed a bit dirty. Then the cleaner rocked up at around 1:20 and said she never knew we had early check in. So we contacted the owner and she said the cleaner was supposed to be there well before we got there (obviously) then said she will come clean the house while we were out for a while. Came back at 11:00pm and the house still hadn’t been cleaned. She told us we didn’t leave the key behind for her. You’d think the owner would have a spare key or would tell us she needed the key. Stayed in a dirty house, no sheets, no bath mats, no sugar, milk powder packet hadn’t been closed properly, crumbs all over the bench, dirty coffee table and owner never even apologised and never got any money back for the inconvenience. Our first time at a air b&b so wasn’t a great impression. Plus the wifi password doesn’t work.

It was the nice place to stay. Very peaceful and serene. Just after dark the kangaroos come out and their right there in front of you. Definitely be going back there again

Have stayed there multiple times recently, great facilities, WIFI does work, great communications from the owner, will stay there again.
