Staff as friendly as but the food was very disappointing. Had garlic prawns as a side dish but they were smothered in a not very appealing garlic sauce. A grilled fish and chips with salad followed
The fish was okay but the chips were under cooked and soggy. The salad consisted of four sprigs of sprouts, half a dozen various lettuce leaves, and an either of a small tomato.
For the price charged very unimpressed and will not be returning.

Well done to all the staff working tonight
Great service and food was excellent..
And to the staff member having to deal with the customer yelling because he didn't have a fork, well done. You handle him perfectly.

Great feed with generous servings. Our waiter was amazing. A French fella with a great sense of humour. Good value and a very old school vibe. Will definitely return

First time here and we loved it. The food was great. Fresh tasty and served beautifully. Lovely comfortable atmosphere. As we arrived we where greeted by Amy, an amazing friendly and welcoming staff member. As we hadn't been here before she explained the menu and seating options. Definitely give this place a go , we will be back for sure. The building and surrounds are all so historic. Loved it.

Good place and good food if you’re looking a not so loud environment with tasty food and drinks 🍹.
The prices goes with portions served!
So many corners to have your seating arranged.
The garden, the bar, inside, outdoor, etc.

Appalling quality for the food mothers day lunch we ordered 2 fish and chips that's were slimy at gritty. Taking one back the lady explained that it was only basa fillets and got a refund for one with me finishing the other now I'm feeling crook feeling sick the past hour. Also my partners meaty parmigiana was aswell very foul tasting with the meat being dry and breading being all soggy with stale chips on top of that the wait between ordering to receiving was a good 30 mins with it not being very busy for mothers day. Would not recommend
