Have stayed here 9 years ago. Our 2 bedroom apartment was very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loved having a private balcony. It is very secure. It is a walkable distance to shopping. Also a very short walk to hotel for dinner and food shops for take away and there is a very good bakery nearby.

My husband and I just spent a lovely week at the Silver Sands Resort, Mandurah WA. About an hour's drive south of Perth on the coast. The weather was perfect. We had a very nice, large, 2 bedroom-2 bathroom unit on the first floor. The unit is well maintained and fitted out with a good supply of all kitchen equipment. It also has a washer and dryer. The units are serviced weekly. BYO bathroom toiletries and tissues. A starter pack of tea/coffee/sugar + milk, as well as dishwasher detergent, and washing machine detergent is provided. WiFi was a bit patchy. Our unit overlooked the side street which was good because I think units that overlook the main street (Mandurah Terrace) would receive more traffic noise as it is quite a busy road particularly on friday/saturday nights. There was minimal neighbour noise so pretty soundproof. The resort has a very nice, large pool but it is unheated and a bit too cold for me at this time of year. There was plenty of pool furniture and shade if needed. There is also a small indoor heated pool which was heated to almost spa temp. Rather warm! Several tables and chairs in the heated pool area. Everything well maintained. Both upstairs and downstairs units have several stairs to their entrance. All buildings are 2 stories. No lifts. There are 2 units near reception with flat access. All units have a nice size balcony with table and chairs and the balconies are all private from the neighbours. The resort is located about 5 minutes drive from the main Mandurah waterfront shops, restaurants and foreshore area. The foreshore area is very nice, well shaded, with free access sea based swimming pools. There are heaps of restaurants across from the foreshore on the canals and waterfront on the other side. There are lots of parking areas and it is all free. No parking meters in sight anywhere. Next door to the resort is a tavern which serves basic pub meals at reasonable prices wed - saturday. A few minutes walk away is also a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery and several fast food outlets and a couple of restaurants. Mandurah is a very nice area, with plenty of things to do in the region.

Checked in yesterday morning everything is going well so far . Would be great if there was a television in the bedroom, I know some people don't like them there ,but I'm not one of them

Although this is an older resort, it is kept in immaculate condition. The units are large with everything you could need The gardens are beautiful and the pools and spas spotless. Lots of room outside on your personal balcony or around the pool for relaxing with a coffee. The staff are welcoming,friendly and very helpful. Shops are close by and there is a tavern next door

Had an enjoyable week at Silver Sands. The gardens and pool are attractive. The pool is in the middle of the rooms and can be noisy when kids are using it, but might be better outside of school holidays.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but hours are 9-5 with reduced hours on Sundays and holidays.
The location is only a few hundred metres from the beach and a small set of local shops, but it is a drive into Mandurah if that matters to you.
The 2 bed suites are well equipped and fairly comfortable, but feel very bland - and there is no stove.

We had a great stay at Silver Sands for an 7 night stay with my family in a large 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment. Altough the property is aging there is plenty to do .The resort is a short walk from beach and also not to far from shops and the town. Very comfortable and large apartment. Also has washing machine and dryers in the apartment. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just only 2 small issues I bought my own kitchen knives as they were blunt and no good for a good cut of ribeye on BBQ's and the sofa mattress was very tired and uncomfortable to sleep on. Great gardens outside In general it is a great place with Pools, Saunas, Tennis courts, and Spa,s and just a lounge to get away from the kids. I would highly recommend a 7 night stay at the resort. A++++ stay have rebooked next year . Great work thank you !!!
