Food sounded amazing and looked amazing from photos on socials, however, in reality, sadly, it wasn’t very flavourful. Pomegranate was def not fresh, fritters came out without the poached egg and pomegranate, had to ask for it, and after looking at others photos of the fritters, it was missing some kind of white mash on the bottom of the plate. Friends crumpets didn’t taste fresh and were very tough and hard to cut through. After spending $60 on brunch, we were left highly disappointed. Chai was lovely, however, went cold very quickly.

we got the crumpets, pumpkin and sage fritters, and a bowl of chips, and they were delicious. food came out quickly, everything was a good temperature, the chips were well seasoned and a generous portion for only $11. highly recommend the fritters they were delicious, and the crumpets were great as well. service was friendly and quick. great job guys!

It's my first visit, i found everything mostly to standard. The interior decor is tasteful and pleasing. I ordered a coffee, it could have been a little warmer, flavour good but for a Flat White it had far too much Crema or froth to the top!

Confirmed: NO BOOKINGS, NO PHONE NUMBER, only walk-ins allowed, like Perch'd🚶‍♀️

Buna (opened a couple weeks ago) has a cosy atmosphere, great restaurant decor, great staff, and good food ☺️

Plenty of parking around the cafe & shopping blocks, but it did get more crowded at 9:15am.

Plenty of seating: Outside Buna next to the outdoor carparks, inside the shopping centre opposite Gilbert's and Sons and inside Buna.

Outside seating does not have shade/umbrellas.
Suggestion: Shade & umbrellas for the hot days ☀️⛱️

I don't recommend sitting in the 2 x corners of the indoor area, where there is music blaring from the portable speakers on the floor.
Suggestion: Speakers be positioned more away from the tables, so the music interferes less with people sitting at the corners 🔊

Buna was very quiet at 7am, but it became crowded and louder at around 8:30am. There was even a line to order from the counter that reached just the outside of Buna to Gilbert's and Sons at 9:15am.

Orders are placed at the counter, and the staff are really friendly that you could strike a conversation with them.

I ordered the Buna Brioche ($22) and the large Sticky Chai ($6.20).
(Total Price Paid: $28.45 including Card Surcharge.)
The waiter spilled a bit of my Sticky Chai as he reached over our table to serve it, but did not negatively impact my experience at Buna. The latte art is beautiful! ☕️

The Buna Brioche was nice; the bun was a bit crispy and easy to bite into, the ingredients mesh really well and there was plenty of firm bacon 🍔 The hash browns were delicious and crunchy. The Chai latte was also nice.
I also tried my friend's Red Velvet Cookie which was pleasantly sweet and soft 🍪

Thank you for the lovely brunch experience ☺️ Can be tweaked per above 2x suggestions if necessary.
I would love to come back for lunch 🍽

Nice coffee but there’s not much choice of sweets to go with. It was just before 3pm and they suppose to close at 4. However, look like they are preparing to close already. Still many customers come around as it’s located with the new marketplace.

My friends and I love this place! Catch us in the corner playing cards (we are in our 20s I swear!).
This place is the setting to lovely conversations had with travellers, old friends and new friends to come.
The staff are all lovely and you can tell they really put their heart and soul into the food and coffees.
Love the special flavours, so cool to try new things I would've never considered!
The styling is bang on, slayed it! All round good vibes and at the top of my list of recommendations.
Thanks

Oh my word! My partner and I didn’t even plan to get breakfast but one look at the menu and the Buna Brioche spoke to me!
I ordered the gluten free option and this is the best gluten free bagel I’ve ever had. My partner ordered the fritters! To say we were blown away by the flavour is an understatement. We love that you’ve given Mandurah new options.
Can’t wait to come back and go through the menu! Thank you at Buna Cafe ❤️

Not a great experience, unfortunately.
When a business doesn’t clearly display prices, it raises concerns about transparency and consideration for the customer. I ordered two ham, cheese, and tomato toasties, expecting a certain quality, but was given a lower-standard version made with basic sandwich bread.

For a takeaway order of just two toasties, a hedge hog slice, and one iced latte, the total came to $37 — which felt excessive for what was delivered.

Service was slow and lacked coordination between the kitchen and coffee station, leading to a disjointed experience. Overall, disappointed with both the value and the service.
