Made a quick pitstop here on the way to the Margaret River region, and it turned out to be a lovely little break. The coffee was smooth and well-made, and the pastries were fresh and tasty—perfect for a quick recharge. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to try their hot food, but the menu looked tempting and worth a return visit. The real surprise was catching sight of a pod of dolphins making their way up the river—not something you see every day! The whole place had a calm, peaceful vibe, making it a refreshing stop both for the palate and the soul.

Great tasting food and reasonible pricing, especially for being on the water front. Pot-pie and Bay special were generously sized, wouldn't need extra chips for a little one.

Family of 5 had lunch here in Jan. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful views. The service was friendly, but very DIY in that you get your own menus, order at the counter, get your own cutlery, sauces etc for your table. No table service to speak of, but the staff did deliver the meals. The food was good enough to fill the gap, but nothing special. Pre-made veggie burger patties simply deep fried left wanting for flavour. The chicken panini was a roll not a panini and again, no sauces or relish or anything leaving flavour behind.
The meals took a little over 25 mins to come to the table when the Cafe was at about 50% occupancy.
The restrooms had everything you'd expect. However, definitely need a good clean.

The kids enjoyed their bagel and spaghetti saying "it was good and plain".

I would recommend this spot for a quick stop, or a sit and enjoy a coffee, but we won't be back for meals. For the price, we expected more.

To add, we didn't have milkshakes or cakes but they did look very good!

Cafe by the waters edge. Sit in the shaded outside area and watch the boats tooing and frowing while you eat your food . Typical Cafe food i.e., wraps , sandwiches , fish and chips , burgers , etc.. Prices ok and service good.

However: the food was not good at all in my opinion.

Whole breakfast was not hot.
Egg whites runny, yolks half hard, mushrooms full of water and oil. Sausage was like rubber and cold throughout. Bacon was very fatty and not warm.

I would not come back here unfortunately.

First time at this Cafe and obviously very popular, great atmosphere both inside and outside the venue with great outlook over the waterfront, the service was very good with friendly staff and food was good and served in a timely. We will be returning next time we're in Mandurah perhaps even on a regular basis. I can highly recommend a visit to this gem.

Came with my son, loved the atmosphere, it was quite busy the lady who took my order was very efficient definitely will be back 🩵🌻 I loved my lemongrass and ginger tea !
