Some reviewers praised the good location with plenty of vantage points, while others mentioned that the on-premise bars were not well-prepared for patrons, resulting in beer running out and serving warm beer with ice. The range of beer was also limited due to lack of tap options.

However, many reviewers had an amazing time at the venue, especially during concerts, and appreciated the many bars available to grab drinks quickly. Some reviewers noted that the dance floor was a bit cramped but still enjoyable for those who liked it.

Recomendaciones

For those looking for a concert venue, Metro City is a great option due to its excellent location and many bars to easily access drinks. However, it's recommended to arrive early to avoid waiting for drinks and to be aware of the limited beer options.

Good location with plenty of vantage points, but on premise bars were not prepared for patrons, as beer ran out and had to serve warm beer with ice, also range of beer was limited due to none on tap

Had an amazing time here for a concert! Place is packed but has many bars to easily grab drinks. Dance floor was a bit too cramped but fun if you’re into that.

We came to an above and beyond concert which cost $390 per couple. Metro City was absolutely stinking and very hot. The air-con was not working making the place a working sauna.

Management company fix the place now and stop this non sense! Absolute rip off!!!

Great for events like boxing. The place itself begs for renovation )

Unique layout with multiple levels and viewing points for gigs. Several bars throughout the venue which makes getting a drink easy without long queues. Acoustics are also surprisingly good!

Really awesome coming here and seeing the set up Metro's city is still able to pull off. I went to the Delta Heavy concert last night and it was just amazing. I haven't seen lighting displays like that before, and the sound set up was second to none.

Unfortunately though the security staff at the event weren't very nice at all. Doors opened at 9pm and I got there an hour late, but the place was still empty. So I asked if I could pass out, and the security guard was so humourless it wasn't funny. It was like he was trying to show as little emotion as possible. As if he read a book the night before called "how to be a security guard" and rocked up the next day. I understand these guys manage some pretty deplorable behaviour at times, but I think it was pretty clear I just wanted to ask a simple question, and was being generally friendly at the time. And he was being so clearly unfriendly.

You then compare that to how they managed the 12 or so people repeatedly dancing between the barricades and the stage. What's the point of the barricades being there? The security would come once every half an hour and gently ask people to move out, and they'd come right back straight away. There were some people, one guy in particular, that they'd even let stay there once they'd moved people on. And this guy was actively encouraging people from the audience to come back. All they had was a tiny red piece of fabric the "block" the entrance to the walkway between the barricades and the stage. With no security positioned there, and just this tiny piece of fabric there, of course people aren't going to respect it. And the security would just sit there and watch it happen from the other side of the stage.

It just doesn't make sense why the security would be so unkind to someone being generally friendly and just looking for a simple answer to a simple question, but then people who are really being unruly, breaking the house rules, and not following instructions when told to leave that area, are given a free pass to do what they want and come back to do it all over again. It just makes no sense.

So overall, an amazing show but very poor show by security.

Cozy little venue for a concert.
Need to choose your viewing position before the set starts.
Staff were really efficient at meeting demands for drinks, and also providing and replenishing plenty of water and cups.

Band was great, however the Metro was very hot and stuffy, the stickiest floor I've ever walked on, and not many staff at the bar. My friend missed a couple of songs getting drinks.
