Stayed at the caravan site of Karrinyup Waters Resort. First time we have been there.
We have been to many caravan sites, this is the first establishment we have been to where we were NOT able to ask for a specific site number (after prepping and looking at the site map set out) and therefore we had to book without any idea of where our caravan would be parked. This was of some concern to us as we have personal likes and dislikes when staying at a caravan site.
We were offered upon arrival to be taken around in a buggy with a groundsman who would then show us sites available at the time of our arrival, that we could choose from and fortunately we were able to choose a site to our liking and which met our needs. I guess it was bad luck to us however if we weren't that lucky and had to choose from several sites that we didn't like!
And that is our main concern when it comes to booking at this establishment and why we believe we probably won't be booking with KWR again. Because when paying good money to stay in our caravan for a number of days, why shouldn't we have a choice of preference of what is available, like other establishments happily provide?
We don't want to take that risk of having no choice but to set up our caravan in a location that is not to our liking (too busy, too cramped, near children's playground, traffic etc)
So this is something to consider thinking about when staying in your caravan at this particular resort. Do you have preferences, likes and dislikes about where you want to spend several days, or are you willing to go with the flow and set up anywhere you are only given the option to choose from and are available at the time?
Having said that, on a positive note, the grounds of KWR are very clean and well kept, as are the toilets, showers, kitchen and laundry
areas. The cafe is lovely with delicious food and a wide variety of choice. Lots of playground and swimming areas that are well maintained
Staff are friendly and accomodating to a point, wouldn't say they go the extra mile.

What a wonderful park we live 30 minutes from here came here for the long weekend as a get out of the house getaway. All staff we encountered were so polite and inviting. The pool, playground, jumping pillow, and the space to ride a bike kept our 12 year old busy. The cafe has excellent food, big serves too and the coffee is so good. We will definitely come back for a get out the house getaway

A super place to take small children. It appears not to have had any upgrades for some years. The coffee table in Unit 100 was so old you would not eat off it. It should have been replaced years ago. The bathroom mirror so old it was rusted from the back. The bunk beds when you looked up from the bottom had graffitti written in around 2013, time to replace and these items do not cist a lot. The security entrance was broken for the 3 days we were there, and apart from the girls in the office and some maintenance men there did not appear to be a visual manager. In the era of 4 wheel drives people did take care when driving through the complex. The pool area absolutely fantastic, again not one person from the site was ever seen there as older kids ran wild jumping in at dangerous rocky spots. Not signage to advise differently.|The cafe area fantastic brilliant food and great staff. I had heard great things about this place but it is now really quite run down especially the villas. Money needs to be spent we paid around $300 per night or a bit less

Heads up to the owners here for taking note of customer complaints! I was asked by the very helpful and friendly staff member if I had a preference for the location of my site and she fulfilled my request immediately. Beautiful caravan park with a lake and as previously mentioned loads of birdlife. Thanks guys, would definitely stay here again

Staying at KW Resort was a load off my mind as I'm immigrating to Canada and needed somewhere central to finish up with my job and home, and to attend appointments. The 18-day stay was relaxing. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at KW Resort. I'll be back this time as a tourist with my Canadian husband.😊🇨🇦

A fantastic family park . We hired a powered site for 5 days . There is a lake several playgrounds including jumping pillows so great for the youngsters . Heaps of bird wildlife . Decent toilet and shower facilities . Camp kitchen dump point cafe and restaurant .
The only downer was we asked for disabled shower access which staff didn’t know where it was . No sign when found and way too far for me to walk to so I ended up using a normal bathroom . My question ? Why place disabled people miles from access ,

The room is dusty but acceptable. Left and right house is very close, u can hear what the people in the other house are talking about especially at night.
Overall a nice place to stay as a family as there are nice 3 huge swimming pools and karrinyup mall is just a few minutes drive away.
The only thing is I'm not sure why all pools have a strong salty taste rather than chlorine taste...maybe its Australian thing🤷🏻‍♂️.

Felt I needed to advise for the price some units could do with some inexpensive upgrades to furniture. Unit 100 the coffee table is terrible and way beyond use by date not expensive same as the bathroom mirror so old and rust type marks all over. Loved our stay with grandchildren but unit 100 directly behind the cafe and with 4 rubbish bins plus staff parking would never choose again. The double bunk beds are also very creaky and the kids were wary. Graffiti underneath shows they are many years old. Still a wonderful 3 day getaway and will return. Just an honest opinion
