We stayed for 5 nights with our 11 year old and 8 year old in Cowrie Cottage and it was great. It was very clean, comfortable, and had lovely views of the forest from every window. My kids enjoyed the bunk beds, as well as exploring the property and the dam.
Although there are 5 cottages, our cottage felt quite private and we never heard any other guests. It was quite cold and wet when we were visiting, but the log fire and reverse cycle aircon kept us warm. Although it feels like you are in the bush, it's only 5 minutes drive into Denmark.
The hosts Melissa and Jason were lovely and very welcoming.
They provided everything we needed - plenty of tea/coffee bags, a bit of oil for cooking, wood for the fire, even some laundry powder. The washing machine and airing rack were very handy and the kitchen was well equipped with all appliances we needed. There were also some books, games and DVDs in the cottage, which were handy.
I would definitely recommend Denmark Forest Retreat and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Nice sense of privacy, in the bush & next to a small lake. Close to town, with the option of a cycling/walking path to get there. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Retreat was cosy and very clean, nice warm shower and comfy bed. Close to town and short walk to Wilson inlet and bibbulmun track. Jason was very informative on places of interest. Will visit again.

Love this place! It felt like you're one with nature while being safe and comfy in Driftwood cottage.
Our hosts said hello to our group on our first day, made us feel welcome and gave us helpful tips. Highly recommended! 👍🥰

Great place to stay in Denmark. Beautiful cabin great for us 2 sisters and child 11 years. Only down side no WiFi for the child but that can also be a good thing. So much to do, tree top walk and Green Pool were my favourites

Lovely, cosy and quiet. Our hosts Jason and Melissa gave us great tips on things to do and ensured we had everything we needed. The location is perfect - close to town, the inlet and beach but feels like you're in the bush. Thank you so much we had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful accommodation in Denmark. The owners personally came by and gave us awesome suggestions for our stay. They give you some local insights you might otherwise miss. The place was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen had what we needed to cook our dinners. Beautiful location, very serene and tranquil. Would definitely recommend.
