So so happy with this accommodation. Looks right out on the bay. The studio is spacious and has a lovely breeze going through when the windows are opened. Will definitely be staying here if we visit again.

Stayed 1 night as we were passing by, the email we got with instructions was a bit confusing so we ended up staying in a smaller cabin (wrong one we later found out) which was no issue as our youngest slept in our bed for the night.
The cabin was basic and had an off smell, beautiful big bath and shower that I assume had just been upgraded, tap had a little leak but didn’t bother up as all.
Cabin was clean but other than the bathroom, was very run down with gaps in the floor boards

The cottages have one of the best locations in Shark Bay. However, we were booked for two nights but checked out after one. There is rustic and then there is just not great in any way shape or form. If a little bit of money was spent on a new bed, totally renovating the bathroom, a nice table and chairs, fixing the windows so they open, repairing the flyscreens, cleaning the mould off the ceiling, cleaning the floors and a coat of paint, the cottage we stayed in - Dugong - would be beautiful. Other cottages may be different.

We had booked a two bedroom cabin online but when we arrived we were assigned a studio cabin but we really needed a 2 bedroom. The staff I spoke to were lovely and assigned us a 3 bed cabin for 1 night and an extra studio cabin for the 2nd night. While we appreciated them trying to correct their mistake, it was inconvenient to have to check out and back in during our stay. They have a range of cabins available and the renovated ones were okay but the older cabins were on the rougher side and not what I had expected for the price we paid. The shower in the older cabin in particular was not great. However, we have not stayed anywhere else in the area so not sure how this compares to other accommodation options.

Booked a room based on the photos shown on Booking.com.

When we arrived we were assigned a broken down, filthy old shack that didn't even have proper locks on the doors.

No refund offered by management or booking.com, even though the lady we spoke to admitted that the pictures online were of the "renovated cabin" and we got an un-renovated cabin. $500 wasted, as the cabin was not safe, clean or anything like the pictures.

Would not recommend booking here unless you have seen the facilities in person. Even then, you can get better accommodation up the road a little bit for about the same price.

The first shack was full of hazards and very bad smells. Moved us and flaged off that shack with do not enter. The next one not worth the $ for stay. Lovely location crap shacks with no care for the people who stay. Don't believe what they advertise. I would rather sleep in the front seat of my car.

SO disappointed and disgusted. Paid an absolute premium for what was advertised as a ‘recently renovated/refurbished’ cottage. Gaffa tape holding parts of the bathroom wall together, ZERO bench/storage space, toilet not even cemented to the ground, not a single wine glass in sight. Mould, mildew everywhere. Kitchen tap dripped constantly and ended up with water turned off for 12 hours to fix. Had high hopes. Never ever again. Do not be deceived by the pictures, a total croc.
